Drake establishes his main sound which you will hear for the rest of his career, the album is heavily influenced by 808s and heartbreak and potentially does a better job at being better than the classic itself

Undeniable classic, every modern rapper npawadays lists Take Care as their influence

With eminem dropping a couple montgs after him and with drake selling almost as much as eminem everyone knew Drake will become king of hip hop. Arguably his best album and top 5 album oat

Why do so many rappers noawadays release mixtapes comercially and not albums? Thats rigyt because they were influenced by the one and only Drake. Drake takes a new approach to maturity and sells 500k without promo. Take that Lendick!

Again undeniable classic, a grower if u will. 2 years ago everyone was calling it trash now it aged like fine whine. Reminder this went 4 times platinum in less than a year

I don't recall ever seeing a Drake Stan go to bat for his entire catalog. That is a case reserved for Kanye and Em fans alone.
The former, until recently, obviously had a way better case than the latter.
