    Couldn't agree more. Carter 4 was definitely his weakest. But even being his worst of the series it still had some solid songs.

    Tha Carter 5 has been years in the making. I'm sure he had plenty of time go through the project over and over again.

    There are probably songs on there that were written 5 years ago and others that were recorded last year. But with all the talk and the wait for this album, which he is well aware of, I have good faith it will be better than the Carter 4.

    Can’t wait for this. Been waiting for so many years now and it’s finally happening. Tha Carter V is so highly anticipated. I gotta believe he wants to redeem himself after Carter IV and is gonna come correct.

    Completely off topic, but f--- man, in my opinion, 2018 has been the best year for hip hop releases in god knows how many years. This year has been absolutely flooded with quality releases from all the artists I really f--- with. And we still have quarter 4 left!

    I seriously never have a clue when iTunes updates anymore. Two weeks ago I swear it was 11PM EST. I think this is legitimately dropping at midnight though
