Oct 16, 2018 What’s the best selling first week this year for example? Maybe it’s you guys living under a rock lol.. is eminem’s 400k #1?
Oct 16, 2018 Drake’s Scorpion album makes a smashing, streaming-powered debut atop the Billboard 200 chart, as the set opens with the largest overall week of 2018 for any album. Scorpion, which was released on June 29 via Young Money/Cash Money/Republic Records, bows with 732,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending July 5 according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 160,000 were in traditional album sales
Oct 17, 2018 Take In my feelings song outta that album and you basically got like half of that s---. I think they have some stupid logic With the streaming system. 10 songs played from the same album is a stream for the whole album which means a full stream of Eminem's kamikaze by a person Counts as a stream for album While same 1 full listen of Drake's album Scorpion counts as 2.
Oct 17, 2018 We all know drakes double album 'officially' has that crown. However with 700k sold 'technically' only 350k actual people downloaded/bought it. lol. So em still sales king tbh. 420k with an 11 track album. How old a--- em outselling the freshest posterchild in the game?? I know this makes people mad too which is even more amusing.
Oct 17, 2018 Lol Drake has to cheat the system to make big numbers. Shows how terrible he is at making good music
Oct 22, 2018 People dont hate Eminem because he is Eminem. People usually hate Eminem because of the fans.
Oct 22, 2018 Just shows the difference between a good album with zero promotion compared to a lackluster Revival album with 2-3 months of s--- promo. Happy for Eminem to be honest. Hopefully this shows him how he should move forward with future releases.
Oct 22, 2018 If would have been released Kamikaze instead of Revival back in December 2017, would have blown up thanks to all that "promo"
Nov 9, 2018 This is not really true. But pretty sure the fact that Em has a large a--- fanbase that actually makes do big numbers is very disturbing to some haters.
Nov 9, 2018 It's a package of things. Those things you mention are all major factors in the hate... Imagining really disking his music too alongside all of those facts. It doesn't excuse it, but you can certainly see why some people hate anything attached to his name. Em has some of the most biased unfounded hate ever in hiphop IMO.
Nov 9, 2018 Yeah, that hating Em thing has been strongly becoming more common since his comeback in 2009. After MMLP2 it started to become really evident and increased more but it's only in US. Revival hate in US was the obvious result of this. I mean if the album was really as bad as they made it outta be and it was the real reason US people ignored the album and sh---ed on it, then why didn't it happen same in UK too ? I mean UK people speak english as their main language too. lol. I'm happy about that stupid hate thing after all. Kamikaze wouldn't exist otherwise.
