Libel is also extremely difficult to prove in court. You have to prove that a person purposely spread false information about you in effort to damage your reputation/image. Simply being wrong, doesn’t mean you can be sued for libel.

Well it wouldn't be hard ro prove, given Williams wrote a "tell all" book after being fired. If it was a blatent lie, it would be easy to argue it was an attempt to damage his rep. Given the allegations it would be in your best interest to attempt to sue even if you lost, rather than allowing them to spread without denying them.

I know I'm late, but Duff was mentioned on Encore.
Miley Cyrus was the one who he mentioned on Relapse.
Both were underage.


Not being picky though. I think both MGK and Em are kind of f----- up for talking about people who are underage. It's interesting how we never bothered to wonder where the line is for such content until something like this popped off lol.
I'm really curious to see the original MGK tweet. Has it been posted in this thread? Has anyone even seen a screenshot of it? If all he said was that Hailie was good looking then I really don't see what the big deal is.
But if he went there and mentioned more than just her being good looking, then yeah....

I'm really not. It's just a really slippery slope. If someone saying that another person is good looking, calling them a pedophile is pretty far fetched if it's an isolated incident.
