    Days like these are when being a big hip-hop fan is tough. You get so invested in these artists music, you feel a connection with them. Their music become soundtracks to certain parts of your life. It just really sucks...

    Mac miller didn't die because he loved to do drugs. He died because he was depressed and had mental health issues. Drugs and alcohol are the substances used, but the issue is deeper than that.

    He helped me through the past couple months with Swimming. AOTY candidate for sure. RIP Mac

    Really grew to enjoy Mac’s recent albums. Listened to GO:OD AM while running for months in 2015.

    This is the first artist’s death that I felt genuinely bummed out about

    Going back listening to Faces is so chilling now.



    Celebrity deaths normally don't do anything to me but this one hit a nerve. Mac was a staple to my highschool years. That whole era of Wiz, Currensy, Mac, Meek, Big Sean, Kendrick, and some other rappers that were all starting to come up at the same time was a lot of fun.

    Listened to this song after I found out he died and man it really hits you hard.



    Rest in peace to a great rapper and a great dude.

    For someone who knows VERY few Mac songs, this is still hitting me pretty hard..He was one of the few rappers out nowadays that I was kinda digging and getting more into, was planning to check out more of his stuff soon. Certainly not claiming to be a big fan or anything, h--- I can't even really say I was a fan at this point. But like I said I enjoyed the few songs I heard recently, and was planning to check out more.

    But even more so it's because it's another person gone in their 20s, and in this case a person who had a positive impact on millions of people. Life is just brutal man, brutal.

    dude arguably grew more artistically over the past 10 years than almost any rapper who came up around the same time as him, and even after that he still was only f---ing 26 dude

    You never know how a person's doing on the inside even if they seem OK on the outside. You could tell he was going thru it on swimming. Addiction has many faces.
