Mgk is so hurt. Gonna be crying on the breakfast club tomorrow. Used a crowd that wasn’t his to stage a pic to look badass and it backfired. Deleted all of his past stanful tweets about Eminem. Got booed off stage during his performance of rap devil. Gonna have to clean diddy’s c-m out of his hair again tonight. I hope he doesn’t overdose.

I'm sure he could have done some homework on him, got some inside gossip, got a little more personal. Most of the things Em said he could just say to basically anyone, which is a weak diss. If he wasn't going to annihilate him - don't call it Killshot lol. I think he was trying.

The quality is so much better now with the official release

The mixing is a lot better now


Vocals more leveled w a little echo, Adlibs way more clear, and the hook sounds like an actual hook now

I don't think you can seriously compare Rap Devil to Killshot. MGK is in over his head and should stick to battles with people of his caliber. Funny thing is that Eminem used a wack, relatively unknown rapper in MGK and actually created enough publicity to capitalize on the beef.

Yeah I do - reference to a movie called KIllshot, where a character who gets killed has the last name Colson; MGK's real name is Colson. Then also the meaning of what it sounds like - a k--- shot.

Cool.

Puns and wordplay aren't good dissing.

Nail in the Coffin is good dissing.
Bully is amazing dissing.
The Warning is amazing dissing.

Personal. Got at their characters. Scathing.

Flipping words and punning is effect'less, unless the meaning behind the lines is personal or more than 'I sell a lot and I'm rich'.

Makes him look like a phoney too because it's a completely different type of person, the way he's dressing and acting now.

Not that people can't change, but going from 'hardcore rap' guy and speaking the way he was speaking... to this emo / pop-punk rocker overnight; it's an aesthetic which is a style, a type of person and fashion, everything, like hip-hop - so just feels like he's 'trying it on' to see if it works better. Super cringe.

It ain't a good diss though.

The only line of the song which moved anybody was the Diddy line and that has nothing to do with MGK.

I'm not trying to be cool, I'm just saying how I feel. I think every other Em diss track is fire. 'Killshot' is a dud.

Easily Em's weakest diss.
Good rap, not a good diss.

The fact that it was aimed at someone like MGK arguably makes Killshot worse. How you gonna have your entire career/persona thrown into question by some no-name and respond without addressing any of it.

And one other flaw in the whole underpinning of the track I never see anyone notice - the fact Em basically is trying to say MGK is 'Stan', that he worships him / autograph for his daughter...

Then he points out MGK got the number of albums wrong and says 'know your facts 'for you come at me lil goof' - so is he an obsessed Stan or not? Both cannot be true, yet he makes both points.

Then we have people just quoting the 'beard is weird' line (when Em also has a 'man bun' line) like 'oh that's all MGK said', acting like he didn't have funny lines throughout and way more effective than Em's:

- Talking tough / paying millions for security - good line
- Sound like a b---- saying 'Ima call trick trick', handle your s---
- Sweatsuits & corny hats - funny, something Em's own fans point out
- 'Not Afraid' impression was funny

- Pointing out he's still acting like he gets no respect or clout when he's in everyone's top 10, got an oscar etc. - good point

- Pointing out the Yela verse, putting Em in an impossible position to where if he did get Yela to take it off... he'd look like a b---- after it was pointed out... fact he didn't - looks like he complied, true or not

Overall the most effective diss track aimed at Em, easily.
