Sep 20, 2018This album is pure greatness from start to finish.
Starting off with White America to Cleaning Out My Closet, Sing for the Moment, Soldier, Say Goodbye to Hollywood, Till I Collapse. I can't name them all because every song/skit on that 19 track album is flawless.
The only song you could call "bad" is drips. I mean, this is the definition of a classic album.
As good as MMLP is, TES has always and will always remain my favorite album. 10 years old when it first came out and that s--- blew me away. I could spend hours listening to it. Even to this day. Just came back to it after not hearing it for several years and it still stands the test of time.
Can't believe it's been over 16 years.
With MMLP Eminem had reached greatness. But in my opinion, TES was where he had reached the peak of both greatness and maturity.
Share your opinion on what you thought of the album when it came out and what out think of it today and maybe tell us when was the first time you heard it.

As much as people praise the MMLP as his greatest, I do think TES is a more polished album and you can most certainly see the growth from MMLP to the TES.Base Reality, asvdawg, DoubleABD and 8 others like this.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

I think TES is the best example of how en Eminem album should sound like. He also produced most of that album, maybe that is one of the main reasons.
When I think about the "ideal" Eminem. I think 2001-2003. His overall sound during that period was perfect imo.ShadyRedDevil, ISUcyclones, David26 and 2 others like this. -

The camera playing everything for him. Then he picks up a bass guitar and thinks it’s an electric guitareminem can’t play an instrument lol. The most he would have done on those songs was the drum machine, and even then DJ Head produced most of the drums.

Like MMLP was one of the most captivating album releases I've ever seen... But SSLP is just so fun in comparison to the rest of his albums. -
