    So what are some good 'real hip-hop' albums that came out this year? This new wave is cool but I'm bored of it now. Looking for 'underground' albums that maintained some kind of sophistication lol. When's the last time something like Blu - Below The Heavens dropped? I'm sure it's out there.... but these new wave artists are seriously being force-fed to us right now. It's even all the internet really talks about now. It's slowly become more and more accepted and at this point is way over-saturated.

    I get it's not cool to say this... I don't care tho. someone pls post real hip hopz

    Why isn't anyone coming out on this kinda wave right now.... I feel like it's time for something like this to blow up. Hip-Hop has literally gone r-----ed. Those people who commented that s--- on lil wayne videos a decade ago have every right to say that s--- now imo

    listening to Saba - Care For Me right now. Pretty promising so far. He can rap and he's saying something. Has a modern sound tho

    One of my favorites of the year too. Listen to the joey purp and noname albums as well if you liked that. They're from the same crew.

    Joey, Saba, and Noname's projects from a couple years back are all great too (Telefone, iiiDrops, Bucket List Project).
