Basically you travel back in time and talk to a hip hop listener, describing something that happens relating to rap music that would be misunderstood as something great due to lack of context but in reality isn't as good as it sounds



For example you go back to prime NWA era and tell people Ice Cube goes on to be a movie star...they don't know he turns into a massive sellout and makes s-----y kids movies

Or you go to 2005 and tell people Kanye starts using Twitter, a platform which allows him to share his thoughts on anything with millions of people with a click of a finger
....they don't know Kanye becomes a MAGA hat wearing schizophrenic seemingly with other severe mental issues


Go to 2002 and tell ppl how lyricism in hip hop has taken backseat by 2018, but Eminem is keeping "real rap" alive by still putting out music with lyrical emphasis...they don't know the majority of his music since 2004 has been bad and he's sold out and started making disney channel pop music and Rick Rubin rock anthems
