I have 30,000 hours in the Laborers International Union North America, I also am vested in the Teamsters, I bartend out of HERE union and I was in the Bricklayers Union for a couple of weeks.

I always felt like it was a conspiracy how must middle class to poor people have no idea what Davis Bacon wages and COLA are.

Right now I'm making $4,500 a week on a pretty cush job out of the Laborers and over the course of my career and average of $10 an hour has gone into 1 of 2 (at this moment, eventually I'll be vested in HERE, as well) federally backed Pensions... that's like putting $300,000 into blue chip stocks starting when I was 18.

Since 2004 I have been arguing politics on various forums as a Union Democrat and I've only ever got was push back and from brainwashed poor people.
