Nov 8, 2018 The album sucks. Putting aside the large chunk of undeniable trash, the good moments of Encore are still dwarfed by the caliber of the preceding 3 albums. Bearing that in mind, I still think Revival is worse. That album is just horribly cynical and detached from reality.

Nov 8, 2018 Agreed. Revival is absolutely worse than Encore. At least the trash songs on Encore are Dre or vintage Em beats. I don’t know what the f--- was going on with Revival.
Nov 8, 2018 This. I hate Kanye too. People act like he has actually done something good in his life at all.
Nov 10, 2018 Most casual listeners would agree encore is a classic Eminem album as opposed to Eminem's actual cringe stans who like trash like bad guy and beautiful pain. In general people actually like songs like a--- like that and just lose it. Plus it has the classic Eminem style everyone loves. And it has genuine top tier material on it, as opposed to post recovery albums. Danny brown said encore was his fav Eminem album and redman said his fav Eminem song is my 1st single
Nov 10, 2018 Shake That #6 on Billboard Hot 100. Just Lose It #6 on Billboard Hot 100. Rap God #7 on Billboard Hot 100. When I'm Gone #8 on Billboard Hot 100. I don’t remember that in 2005-2006 fans hated Eminem’s tracks about clubs and girls and a---. There are just forum assholes that most people do not represent, they do not even represent the majority of fans. Most of Eminem fans really love track a--- Like That. I remember how this track was on everyone’s mobile phone in the summer of 2005. It was a real hit.
Nov 10, 2018 There’s a massive difference between actually listening to these songs regularly and considering them classic, to just looking back on them 14 years later and appreciating them more because his content and style has changed so much.
Nov 10, 2018 Instead of top 50 albums of 2018, which Kamikaze is number one, how about top 50 songs of Eminem's career? 1.) Sing for the Moment 2.) Déjà vu 3.) Stan (Ft. Dido) 4.) Lose Yourself 5.) Way I Am 6.) Rock Bottom 7.) Till I Collapse (Ft. Nate Dogg) 8.) 8 Mile 9.) Drug Ballad 10.) Criminal 11.) Marshall Mathers 12.) Ringer 13.) Renegade (Ft. Jay-Z) 14.) Say Goodbye Hollywood 15.) No Apologies 16.) k--- You 17.) Soldier 18.) When I’m Gone 19.) Still Don’t Give a f--- 20.) Going through Changes 21.) I’m Back 22.) Murder, Murder 23.) I Remember 24.) Lucky You (Ft. Joyner Lucas) 25.) Believe 26.) Rabbit Run 27.) Guilty Conscience (Ft. Dr. Dre) 28.) We as Americans 29.) Like Toy Soldiers 30.) Kim 31.) Superman 32.) My Dad’s Gone Crazy 33.) Brain Damage 34.) Cleaning Out my Closet 35.) Words are Weapons (Ft. D-12) 36.) Chloraseptic (Ft. Phresher and 2Chainz) 37.) White America 38.) Revelations (Ft. D-12) 39.) Without Me 40.) Seduction 41.) s--- on You (Ft. D-12) 42.) Just Don’t Give a f--- 43.) Stimulate 44.) If I Get Locked Up (Ft. Dr. Dre) 45.) Hailie’s Song 46.) Rap God 47.) Who Knew 48.) Fall 49.) Any Man 50.) Bad Influence Honorable Mentions: 51.) 97 Bonnie + Clyde 52.) As the World Turns 53.) Real Slim Shady 54.) Role Model
Nov 10, 2018 And although Encore would be in the lesser half of Em's albums if you are to rank them, it was still a great album. He just shouldn't have replaced the two leaked tracks with silly songs. Just Lose It and a--- Like That were at least funny and were mainstream successful. If he kept We as Americans and Love You More instead of My 1st Single and Big Weenie, you got a fine overall album. It wouldn't have been on his previous 3 albums caliber, but people would have dug it and it wouldn't have been as hated on. 1.) Curtains Up (Intro Skit) 2.) Evil Deeds 3.) Never Enough (Ft. Nate Dogg and 50 Cent) 4.) Yellow Brick Road 5.) Like Toy Soldiers 6.) Mosh 7.) Puke 8.) Love You More 9.) Paul (Skit) 10.) Rain Man 11.) We as Americans 12.) Em Calls Paul (Skit) 13.) Just Lose It 14.) a--- Like That 15.) Spend Some Time (Ft. Obie Trice, Stat Quo and 50 Cent) 16.) Mockingbird 17.) Crazy in Love 18.) One Shot 2 Shot (Ft. D-12) 19.) Final Thought (Skit) 20.) Encore (Ft. Dr. Dre and 50 Cent) (Curtains Close Outro Skit) Would have been a little poppy but overall people would have dug it more and it's a smooth, fun listen - and fit the music wave at that time quite well.
Nov 11, 2018 We can't talk so badly about this album just because of two unsuccessful tracks. Remember how many unsuccessful tracks he released in recent years and how many bad tracks he put into albums that came out after 2005. Now the overall quality of music from Eminem is much lower than on Encore. So, Encore is still a classic album, regardless of whether someone likes it or not
Nov 12, 2018 Encore's highs make it a classic I guess. You feel Em's soul in this album. Nowadays you can't even feel Em's soul. That's why I think he was replaced after the Re-Up.
