The ideas of free markets and the adoption of Capitalism in the United States has advanced worldwide society in so many ways. Nov 22, 2018 I don’t think some people realise just how much a billion is If you were counting £1million at the rate of £1 per second, it’d take you ~12days Do the same for £1billion, & it’d take you ~32 years Obviously no-one needs that much money, but some have earned it & are doing good with it. In an idealistic world they’d redistribute their wealth for the betterment of others in worse situations, but life isn’t fair.
Nov 22, 2018 The government shouldn’t tax billionaires out of existence... The government should heavily invest more in education. Most billionaires had the foundation and basis to become one. It’s not the government’s job to steal from the rich and give to the poor. You put a cap on billionaires and you’ll see them leave that country, which will cause for people to loose their jobs, homes, and ultimetaly you will see less innovation together with prices going up. In my opinion, it should be their job to educate everyone so they can have a fair chance of making a living or even one day becoming a billionaire.

Creating a foundation, donating money, building a school etc. is all cool & stuff but taxing them more & increasing tax revenue would benefit the general public more than Elon Musk trying to go to mars.
