I said Dem turnout could be lower this time around due to Biden's gaffe-prone nature, to put it euphemistically. If you think Biden will come out unscathed from several debates with Trump you're operating under a level of cognitive dissonance that is the ideological equivalent of Biden's deteriorating mental condition. It's not that Trump is a particularly good debater or strong incumbent, it's just that his opponent is so much worse. Another elephant in the room: Some of Biden's town halls only have a few hundred people. Compare that to Trump getting tens of thousands to show up wherever he goes. Sound familiar? Except I would think there's even less enthusiasm among Democrats for Biden than there was for Clinton.

But their candidate is Donald Trump. DNC could easily do the same. The only real cause for concern with stuff like this is GOP plays scar tissue politics, Dems not so much.
