Yikes!!! Thought you had some better knowledge than this. And lol at you saying you would vote for Biden. He has tried doing way more out of control things than Trump has done. Biden being the main democrat atm is flat out embarrassing and a automatic landslide win for Trump in 2020.

Don’t see the point of them

Let the voters decide. One vote equals one vote. Popular vote wins. Get rid of the electoral college, too. Make all primaries open. Make voting a national holiday. Automatic voter registration at 18.

I’m also open to ranked choice voting in general elections

Republicans don’t want a lot of young folks and black and brown folks voting so they make them jump through hoops to vote. Look what happened to Stacey abrams last Fall. She got totally screwed over by voter suppression

“I don’t agree with everything X candidate supports so that means he/she is part of the corrupt establishment!”

I don’t abide by this childish mindset. There’s never going to be a politician you agree with 100% on every issue. I don’t think politics is this set-in-stone thing where you have to be on the right side of every issue as soon as you’re old enough to have an opinion on it. Politicians are allowed to evolve & change their minds just like..you know...regular people. I also don’t live in this fairy tale utopia where Bernie Sanders becomes President & all his policy ideas become reality. There has to be actual bills & ways about achieving these policy goals, something Warren has been able to lay out a lot better than Sanders has. I also understand that the U.S. government is set up for incremental change. Progressive policies are not all going to be achieved in 4 years. It’s going to be a process that may involve having to settle w/ things that aren’t totally what we want. That’s how government works.

Yes, we know all that @Enigma and I know Bernie won’t get everything he wants. His supporters know this, too. But you know that he actually cares about regular people and he has the track record to prove it. He will fight like h--- for the people. He won’t be a p---- and compromise with big pharma, big oil, Wall Street, etc like most of the other candidates. Sorry bro but Kamala is not a true fighter for the people like Bernie is. She uses weasel words and is a good bullshitter. She would get very little done because she’s way too willing to compromise with special interests. Why do you think CNN and MSNBC like her, Beto, Pete, Biden and smear/try to set up “gotcha” questions to Bernie, Warren and Tulsi? Because Harris, Beto, Pete and Biden are pro status quo insiders and will do the bidding of corporate inner circle. Like George Carlin said it’s a big club and we’re not in it. You know god d--- well Bernie isn’t in that circle either. Liz Warren is half in and half out. Tulsi has gone further left since she announced and is the most anti war candidate, which is why she gets smeared by the media so much.

Why would you want a weak Democrat who is way too willing to compromise and keep things as they are? We need FDR 2.0 who will twist arms, shake up the system and use the bully pulpit to get s--- done that helps regular, hard working people. We don’t want someone like Obama and Hillary that is buddies with Wall Street, big pharma, military industrial complex and the big banks.

    The insiders loooooove Kamala

If you’re in the working class you’re better off voting for Bernie, Warren, Yang or Tulsi. They’re looking out for you the most policy wise than the other candidates. If you like the other candidates you’re either into their cult of personality and image or you’re naive and gullible in thinking they’re looking out for your best interest.

Working class Republican voters usually vote against their own interests and sadly a lot of working class Democratic voters do, too. Hillary over Bernie in the 2016 primary is a great example

Here you are again framing everyone who doesn’t entirely agree with you as anti-working class. This is just silly. I also find it funny that you’re touting Sanders while suggesting anyone else “won’t get s--- done” because Sanders has such a long legislative record of getting bills passed, right? I don’t know what kind of government you think the U.S. has but compromise is inevitable. It doesn’t matter if it’s Sanders or Harris or Warren, if you want s--- to get done, you’re going to have to compromise with moderates & maybe some people across the aisle. That’s just how the federal government is set up. FDR was able to push the new deal because the country’s economy had totally collapsed & Americans were desperate for any type of solution. Even then, FDR didn’t get everything he wanted & even threatened to pack the Supreme Court because he feared the courts would keep ruling his policies unconstitutional. This type of “dont bargain, fight until you get everything you want” mindset would have led to the demise of the Affordable Care Act. Millions of Americans have healthcare & protections because of that law. You don’t play stubborn child when you’re dealing with millions of people’s lives. If there’s a way to compromise while improving/progressing the country, you do it.

Also, where have I heard that type of rhetoric before? “The media is against me & trying to smear me; the establishment is out to get me; Don’t fall for the corporate elites; I’m the candidate for the working class!” That sounds awfully familiar...

Also, the hypocrisy in you trying to be this pure lefty but advocating for tulsi who’s bragged about working for an organization that supported conversion therapy & claimed Democrats shouldn’t be representing the views of “h---------- extremists” as recent as 2004. Not to mention her seemingly tight relationship with Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad who she’s continuously defended/covered for over the years. You’re telling me my “bs detector” is off but are quick to advocate for a guy who’s never held public office, grew up wealthy & worked within the high ranks of corporate America for years. Where’s all your “insider” skepticism of Yang? The candidates you support aren’t all so pure either my dude, stop acting like it.

You fundamentally misunderstand how our system functions @Enigma

s---t for the stars policy wise so when it’s time to compromise and make a deal you’re not stuck getting a right wing position (ACA was a Republican plan from the 90s) Obama and Bill Clinton and corporatist minded Democrats start from a moderate right wing/center position and the GOP is sooooo far off the spectrum we end up getting right wing policies implemented.

Working class people are struggling and ARE desperate for change. Do some digging and read and listen to the stories of people being crushed by outsourcing, medical bills, student loan debt, etc....

Bernie worked with republicans in cutting ties with Saudi Arabia and their genocide in Yemen...trump vetoed it. Some democrats still support working with Saudi Arabia

Bernie and Ro khanna worked with republicans in getting 350,000 Amazon workers raises

Bernie is known as the amendment king. He has passed numerous provisions that have helped working people

CNN and MSNBC are against Bernie. They’d probably rather have Trump in there. He keeps their taxes cut and the war machine going. Bernie would end all of that. Compare him to trump all you want. It’s a false equivalence. Bernie wants to help people. Trump wants to help himself, elites and corporations.

Lol you said politicians are allowed to evolve but bring up Tulsi’s past. She has apologized for her anti gay past. And she would be a better president than Harris, beto, Booker and Biden. She takes a principled anti-war stance. I guarantee you Harris, Beto, Booker and Biden would be pro Wall Street and pro military industrial complex

You’re an establishment apologist and don’t even realize it. That’s all. I can’t help ya see the light!

Oh and i disagree with yang on a lot. But he’s still a better candidate than Harris, Booker, Biden, Beto and Petey.

You are just projecting at this point lol. The founding fathers talked about the importance of compromise endlessly. The federal government is set up for slow incremental change. That's how the founders wanted it to be. I'm not saying that's good or bad but it is what it is.

Most the democratic field is running on some form of universal healthcare & tuition free college; there's talk of reparations, executive action on gun control and climate change, universal basic income, green new deal etc. I mean... if this isn't shooting for the stars, what is? Your description of the ACA is painfully silly and partisan. President Eisenhower, a Republican, had tax rates as high as 90% during his presidency. Does that make raising taxes on the rich is all of a sudden a "right wing policy?" No. If policies improve the life of working-class Americans, it doesn't matter which party it came from.

Are you trolling? Did Trent hack into your account or something? This literally reads like a 2016 trump support post. Literally just swap the names. Just start calling them fake news dude, you're already like 90% of the way there.

Jesus Christ.... that's my point. I brought up her record because that's what you constantly hyperfocus on with other candidates that you don't like. It's not like Tulsi was anti-gay 20+ years ago either. Democrats were talking about civil unions in 2004, Tulsi was still acting like homosexuality was some type of mental illness. It just goes to show that you're not consistent with your criticism lol.

Bro, I like Tulsi’s principled anti-war stance. Look into her speeches and policy detail about war. I pointed out to you before how it was f----- up and wrong of Tulsi to be anti-gay. She also supported torture. And was buddy/buddy with a Hindu extremist.

I still trust her more than Harris, Booker, Biden, Beto and Pete with her stance on Medicare For All and ending the wars and spending the $$ on programs at home @Enigma

Incrementalism from corporate Dems and establishment republicans is a bigly reason why we got trump in the first place. People rolled the dice on a demagogue and bigot because he said he’d bring home jobs in the rust belt.

You really think Harris, Beto, Biden, Booker and Petey are going to take a bold stance against outsourcing? There’s already evidence and a history of their donors and voting records that the opposite will be true if they’re in office. They will outsource jobs just like Obama, Bush, Clinton and Trump and do it with flowery rhetoric and a smile on their face @Enigma
