I really loved this album, has arguably one of my favorite songs ever in Benz Friends. In retrospect, it's crazy how after Honest & the heart-wrenching Ciara break-up we saw the inner demon inside of Future take over and well, the preceding run of projects speak for themselves. That to me is what fascinates me the most, the change in personality and perspective in the course of a year.
5 years since Fewtch dropped what might be his most polarizing project to date.
I've always been a big Honest fan, even though I think his work that followed (Monster, DS2, HNDXX, WIIZRD) is far, far better. I can understand some of the criticisms levelled at Honest, especially if we're comparing it to Pluto but it still holds up for me as one of the more under-appreciated entries in his catalog.
