May 17, 2019 I never changed my mind about Relapse. I loved this album from my first audition in 2009, when I just got my CD from Amazon. 10/10 That is the problem with Encore. When I first listened to Encore in 2004, I did not like it at first. But now, 15 years later, this album looks very solid, especially when compared with all his albums that came out after returning to 2009, this album looks almost like a classic. Classic Eminem, classic sound. Now this album looks very good, much better than in 2004, when I first listened to it.
May 18, 2019 They say you can't call an album a classic till its aged. Listened to Relapse last week, d--- near knew all the lyrics and the production is untouchable. RELAPSE is an absolute classic! And definitely one of the best albums of the 2000's New Eminem is trash. Relapse was his last great album.
May 19, 2019 yeah when Encore first came out in paled in comparison to his 99-03 work. Relapse was supposed to be this big triumphant return and it was basically Encore 2.0 plus the weird a--- accents. but both Encore and Relapse have just been sounding increasingly better over the course of this whole decade as he consistently drops mediocre-to-trash albums one after the next. People often wonder what Em's status would be if he had retired after TES/8 Mile but honestly I think his legacy would be just as nearly intact if he'd called it quits after Relapse.
May 19, 2019 you (and a lot of others) might enjoy his latest albums but the critical/fan reaction has been mostly negative and its definitely affected his legacy.

May 19, 2019 I was blocked on this forum for about 1 month when I wrote that I didn’t like the Kamikaze album! How do you see the negative, if you block those who did not like the album! All people have different opinions.
May 19, 2019 Its fine that u don't like kamikaze. It wasn't perfect to me but it was a nice surprise imo. Few songs still hold up for me but its far better than most post hiatus albums (again, to me)
