Sep 27, 2018 It’s ok. I understand what it is, as a concept album. Listening years later and the accent isn’t really present on a lot of songs. Underground is obv his normal voice, but songs like My Mom sound like they have it but really don’t. There is a difference between an all out accent like Stay Wide Awake and a song like Hello which just has a weird cadence. However, he goes in and out and sprinkles the accent on 90% of the songs.

All the weak production issues over the years and you have Alchemist right there the whole time. Agreed but honestly the Hello voice has never bothered me. Couple of tweaks and it would have been a good first single.

Still pissed he sold out and made pop music instead of sticking with Dr. Dre beats. The whole song is incredible, the way he goes back and forth with the devil. Oct 31, 2018 It wasn't on Refill. It was a bonus for Relapse. So, it was never suppossed to be on Relapse 2 or anything for that matter. And maybe it was made before Relapse sessions for like King Mathers or smh in 2007 like Careful What You Wish For and Beautfiul. I'm not even gonna spend time on that pop bs. And I don't think the fact that he never really used Dre beats except few songs after Relapse is his choice at all. Dre is kinda retired since Relapse anyway. He barely does any beats at all.
