Jun 29, 2019 My L5-S1 disk is herniated and punching my spinal cord. My c6-7 disk is herniated. I have arthritis after all the years these things damaged me and it was too late when I finally got mri’s done to show what all was wrong. Some neuropathy. My left knee needs surgery, but I said I’d have to wait until winter for it because our business is extremely busy in the summer and fall. I was prescribed hydrocodone, Percocets since I was 16 on and off. I used weed instead when I went to college and took it easy on my back. I got back on them when I came back to work after school. However, my back pulled out on me the first week I returned to work. I went to the pain doctor and got put back on pain meds. After about 2 years on them, I had a full blown panic attack one night at a friends house and it was one of the worst experiences ever. I had a few more minor panic attacks after that and quit opiates last year. I had to take test and got diagnosed with social anxiety and depression. My doctor said Valium is also a muscle relaxer so he recommended that for anxiety and back pain, muscle spasms. And I get Naproxen for pain. It helps if my back has minor aches. When I pull it out, nothing works. Until I lay in bed for 2-3 days until it’s comfrotab enough to walk. I have to see a back surgeon once a year to go over updated info. They want to wait until I’m in my 30s to do a open back surgery.
