Jan 20, 2017 right. Eminem is still one of the biggest artists of all time. Probably the one with the most die hard fans even though he tries harder than anybody to forgotten by media etc.
Jan 20, 2017 Thay strengthens my arguement thaf em is not unpredictable n that its actually kimda easy. Evefythings in patterns wit dude in the last decade. Lmao
Jan 20, 2017 I still think Em could sell over a million in one week if he had a strong lead off single and just did a quick album release from announcement without a ton of time for it to leak.
Jan 20, 2017 I think he'd do better if he did an initial digital only release with the single dropping same day or week, IMO
Jan 20, 2017 Shady XV would have sold as much as MMLP 2 if it was a solo album by Eminem. He can easily sell like he did with Recovery if he drops 1 or 2 huge singles.
Jan 20, 2017 It's hard to find people who know hip hop that don't respect him, even if they dislike him. Whether people like to admit it or not, he's still one of the biggest rappers there is or ever will be, and he'll go down as one of the greatest of all time.
Jan 20, 2017 Imagine Em dropping his first few albums in the social media age when we was on drugs He would cause so much more controversy & his tweets would be golden lmao
Jan 20, 2017 fr, this what i dont understand when people say we are not dry compared to other major stars. aside from us not having his online & social media presence. The music he dropped has very low replay value. like 2014 was active but not like other artists 2015 65% dead .. (and only 2 solo, 2 badmeetsevil song.. i dont count Southpaw as Em album) 2016 97% dead 2017 full month without activity so far, but we r getting verse at least at February
Jan 20, 2017 Hence the overreaction at the slightest hint of a feature or even a short appearance on the radio. Just gotta make the most of this album cycle before he goes back out of the spotlight again. Would be nice to have back to back albums again though, he certainly has enough tracks lol
Jan 20, 2017 Eminem's got no presence in the world though, like no twitter/instagram/facebook. The only time his presence in the world is known is if someone is saying "remember 2000 Eminem" or if he actually releases something that isn't ShadyXV[/QUOTE] Only like this in this era is j cole. Eminem likes to stay hidden
Jan 20, 2017 I think it's blend of him enjoying being away from flashes & being too safe of demolishing his legacy.. he tries to release something 'Eminem' quality...... maybe the Shady XV criticism and Earl Sweatshirt got into him? we will know in the next DBZ episode
Jan 20, 2017 I fully respect Em's decisions to stay out of the spotlight/media as much as possible. It does make you appreciate it more when he does make the rare appearance What I don't like is the low output of music we get in comparison to how many tracks he makes/how long he's in the studio. Surely wouldn't hurt to keep us happy with a few throwaway songs
Jan 20, 2017 Not wrong but he was huge during the Recovery era. I remember he's the most liked person on Facebook in 2011. That's not 10 mins fame.
Jan 20, 2017 ah okay i don't really know/remember those things. all i remember was that recovery was fairly popular for about a month in Aus. after that was pretty luke warm till he did a live show like 4 yrs later
Jan 20, 2017 What I don't like is Em's camp being mum during album making. SOME communication with fans will not hurt anything, you mofos. I'd just like to know what step he's on with it.
