Plenty of artists have made 2 great albums in a row, plenty of artists have made 2 back to back classics.

But to follow up one of the most influential and important hip hop albums of all time with yet another genre-defining, game-changing masterpiece puts Dre in an elite not many others can claim. n----s wanna be the King but the Ace is back.

one of the first albums I ever owned. listening to this felt like opening a portal to another dimension. its a towering landmark in hip hop history, marked the beginning of the Aftermath dominance that would define the decade that followed and 20 years later and still sounds like it comes from the future. No one's been able to replicate it, not even Dre himself.

    Well put!!

Would like to add that his 3rd album he managed to combine his vintage sound w more modern music.. having both veterans and new artist on it, and STILL make it great. 3/3!

    Truly a legend.

It can't be overstated how perfect and timeless the production on this is. Props to Mel Man who never gets enough credit.

I honestly wish I was old enough at that time, I still prefer that over todays trap sound (to an extent)

    Overrated trash

there are some classic songs on here but think we forget that there is a lot of filler since we just tend to listen to the 3-4 classic songs. 4/10

Well, guess we gotta thank Iovine for Still Dre. Plus, Dre is right about the classics. He really does deliver. The Chronic, 2001, Compton... All of them were classics to me. Sure 2001 was unreachable but Compton had like the best modern day beats ever.

Maybe not all of them but imo for sure better than 100 times the same sound on every album song

Some amazing beats. But thats kinda off topic here, 2001 had all classic beats!

It's a classic. Always felt it was kinda bloated and could stand to be trimmed down a little, but that's minor and doesn't take away from how great the album is

Honestly, GOAT album. The album aged so well over the years, I still listen to majority of the songs.
