Aug 3, 2022 Lmao f---ing people man. Fans been begging for Walt and Jesse to show up for 6 seasons now. They finally show up in the last stretch of episodes in a way that’s not just fan service but actually enhances the story, and then people complain about “Jesse looking too old”. Wtf where you expecting, it’s been 15 years since BB started. Would you rather see a cgi face or a recast? It’s okay to just enjoy things sometimes.

Aug 3, 2022 I enjoyed it, don't get me wrong. It just sounded like he was trying to force out a voice. I'd have preferred if he just spoke regularly but it sounds like he was trying to overamplify the angst of Jesse Pinkman. still really enjoy the scene though

Aug 4, 2022 What I love about this show, particularly this season, is that they've managed to create a prequel that makes more sense watching it after Breaking Bad. I absolutely love the mixed timelines and breadcrumb trails. Can't wait to watch this all again at a faster pace.
Aug 4, 2022 Just caught up on 3 great seasons that somehow passed me by. Best sitcom since Seinfeld meets the best crime drama since BB, at least that I've seen. With the Gus/Lalo showdown over though (safe to say the de facto grand finale) I'm not exactly strapping my seat for the conclusion of this new mini "arc", which has so far been pretty underwhelming. One thing that stood out like a sore thumb is that the actor who replaced Don Harvey to play Jeff doesn't even slightly resemble him, and even the character's personality almost seems to have been completely rewritten, because I'm not convinced at all that that's the same guy who humiliated Jimmy in the mall. The latest episode was the most disappointing yet. It was cool to see Aaron and Cranston again but as others have said the fan service stuff is lazy. But I can't say I didn't learn anything new. Aug 5, 2022 Totally agree about Jeff. I pointed out in here that I think they changed the storyline to fit the new casting. OG Jeff was menacing and intimidating. This new guy is an easily manipulated twerp. Super strange to say the least.

Aug 5, 2022 I think this was the plan the whole time. Not the actor switch, but the plot. I think it would’ve been more effective with the previous actor because of his menacing aura. It would’ve been an even bigger revelation to see that man be the mommas boy he is, as opposed to the current actor. hard to tell. But I don’t think they redid the story because of the change. It just isn’t as effective.
