Dec 5, 2019 I think what happened is this. Em came to knew Fat Joe was retiring with this last album and hence he gave him a pre recorded verse (hence Illa being on it). They couldn't find a spot where they could have fit the verse, until they settled on Lord Above. If what I'm assuming (and its clearly a stretch) is true, it explains why Em goes off topic on the record as Joe says above. This would also mean a beat switch is definitely happening. Idk, I could be wrong though as it sounds way too unprofessional for someone like Em and Joe

Since he has been in the game for 20 plus years i guess it makes sense that he isnt hungry as he used to be.. but i mean the concept of him coming in at the end of a song with a long verse blacking out or whatever maybe can take a break for a while
