    We literally are the Eminem forum on the internet and we have been for over a decade. We’ve seen how far it can go already and it’s got us to this very low point that we are at now

    Best way to grow would be for Koolo to come out of retirement and get the next Kendrick/Drake album early — even if just days/hours early — and promote it.

    i've been keeping up. planning to reply to most of the posts over the course of the next few days... i have some immediate thoughts on some, but there's a ton of input to unpack and think about. appreciate the feedback & those who have offered to directly help -- i'll be reaching out.

    What's been discussed here has been rehashed before. It's a vicious cycle. Literally everything in here has been brought up in the past.

    Maybe it's time to pivot back and don't worry about the bells and whistles anymore. And I'm well aware if we do that then we're potentially shi--ing on all the hard work to advance the aesthetics that Slyk, Loyalty, Mike Tyson, Koolo and so on worked tirelessly for us as a userbase. But when will we learn that new members or lurkers don't care about the face lifts so long as the content continues to be lacking?

    I don't proclaim to have the answers, but to see the same discussion points after so many years brought up and it not taking us anywhere is just disappointing.

    Leadership needs to do more. You have mods that haven't even been active for a while. How can they be representative of the place and put their support behind the owners and the actual active leaders if they've become lurkers or totally disengaged from the site?

    @Slyk i still get multiple PMs per week from rando 0 post accounts asking for Carter V OG or Yandhi or the Pablo era tapes i made a few years ago. I know with the dmca flagging a download section would be hard to pull off but we gotta figure out some way to retain these members or at least make them post a few times lol

    maybe this is a moment where you stipulate to those users if they post X number of times theyll (manually) be given access to exclusive sxn80 tapes. not a secret forum per se but a thresold that unlocks access

    Yup I was thinking something similar...I’m not sure if google can crawl private s--- but we got literal thousands of flags (some BS, some actual DL links) so @Slyk would know more about if that’s possible

    The main reason I made an account on leakthis was the edits/compilation section. I know we prob can’t do an actual download section but this is a market that’s always gonna be there for music nerds. People are getting funneled here looking for comps somehow (are there stats to see what people searched on google to get here?). I assume people ask for that eminem compilation @Him Shadow and @DetroitSkills i believe put together as well.

    @Papa Alpha Andy nvm I misread your post lol

    im 100% fine with manually doing it (cuz I have been anyway), but I wish there was a way we could figure out other than me just saying “post five times and I’ll DM!!” Perhaps we should post somewhere that when you make 20 posts or something you gain access to a comp PM? So it feels more like a forum rule/function

    Honestly we should just rename this forum something Eminem related. Make this the best forum and one and only spot for all Em news and discussion. Then we just have smaller music sections for us. Seems like a win win to me?

    right, yeah i assume automated is best....... but logistically manual might be more pragmatic. i do agree it has to be a formal requirement

    @Papa Alpha Andy @Big Cuntry @Slyk to simplify that idea, why don't you make some welcome post that says "make 20 post get into ______ PM group for download links" or whatever. then just keep a group PM only mods can post in, if some f-- gets an exclusive they can send it to a mod to post in group dm (make there only permissions for certain members to post in tho so it doesn't turn into an eminem chat DM)

    Another great idea I had to keep people active and incentivize them is with every 100 posts in a month you get a free $25 @Pizza Hut Giftcard. I would initially sponsor this if I get the go ahead and give it a trial run. We could work with the rules a little bit but I think most people would be stoked for some free Pizza Hut.

    Is there anyway to make it so that if you click on a thread you've already read before, it'll take you to the first unread post in that thread? Rather than page 1 post 1 errytime like it's currently doing?

    Should S80 be remade the way SL was into S80?

    I'm not saying 'go back to 2.0' but at a certain point with the layout, the way the site is now, the way the users are just a handful of the same known posters. 3.0 clearly didnt work out, took too long etc. Everyone respects the work put into it but maybe you should cut your losses to move forward
