    my favorite 3 are probably JPEGMAFIA's album, Hells Roof and Bandana. Different styles, incredible projects, crazy beats all over.

    I also loved and still listen to uknowwhatimsayin, Suzi Wu's EP, ZUU, Meet the Woo, WIZRD, Marcielago, WWCD...

    inconsistent albums with some of my favorite tracks of the year: Beck's Hyperspace, I'm Him, GhostfaceKillahs, Netflix and Deal, The Black Keys' Let's Rock, Lost Tapes 2, Young Thug's leaks...

    Ya this year def s----d for music for me at least. Think the only albums I listened to regularly were Ghostface and Ed Sheeran

    I feel you but on the other hand with so much music there's always something for everyone! U have to search for it a bit more but there's a lot of good music out there.

    Unfortunately I don't have that much time to check all of it out like some pple on here seem to do and I stick w music / artists I like and know.

    nah I'm actually being serious. Ed makes good music. Gets hated on cause he's mainstream pop. Had a lot of good features

    I didn't know they existed! Only heard of Eto quite recently and haven't even heard of CRIMEAPPLE yet. I'm a bit lazy with new music, not on top of it apart from a few artists/couple of record labels. Thanks for the heads up tho I will check em both out.

    you'll love 'em. Also, if you're not on the Mach-Hommy train yet I highly recommend checking out the 2 albums he did with Muggs this year: Tuez-Les Tous and k--- 'Em All.

    WZRD & Death Race the only albums I liked.

    Young Thug has fell off badly.

    Hip hop is a terrible way. Nearly every song is only 3 mins long to get as much streaming as possible.

    Lil Nas X had the most overplayed hit in history as well.

    A truly awful year.

    I don't think rap was that bad but I sure enjoyed a lot more individual songs than albums this year -haven't listened as much maybe but still-

    Lil Nas X getting nominated for the Grammy AOTY sums it up. Embarrassing. He is complete trash who will be a one hit wonder.

    Its like Mims getting nominated for the AOTY back in the 2000's

    I meant to say that I also didn't enjoy that many albums. I dunno about 'that good' but there are good songs every year , its just that we focus mostly on the amount of good albums a year had
