    I feel like em catering to his wide fan base is 90% of the reason we get albums that are so all over the place. Especially after relapse/recovery when the fans seemed to dictate his direction

    This pretty much. It has some nice ideas, but I feel like it's too all over the place for me to enjoy it and it only makes me think what could it be if Em just did geeky rap album.

    Yeah I rather focus on individual songs than albums tbh cuz I mostly listen to songs anyways. And for that, this is great even if its all over the place as a project

    Well relapse was a cohesive album w a direction ...except that direction was 'im a serial killer w a stupid accent' and he made fun of hannah montana and amy winehouse lol
