Yea i have the same reaction and feelings towards the One and X.

I’ll keep playing my Switch and buy the PS5 at launch since it’s backwards compatible with PS4 games. At that point I’ll give my PS4 to a family member or friend. Not sure what games will be available at the PS5 launch though. If there’s nothing that peaks my interest, I‘ll wait for the first price drop too. No reason to upgrade if none of the new PS5 games look fun.

You honestly don’t, you just have to be sensible.

You can get a Ryzen 3600 & an RTX 3070 you’ll be set for the whole generation whilst the first 4 years at least outperforming consoles. PC games have more sales & are cheaper at full price too, no online subscription, higher frame rates, more customisation in game, mods, no generation upgrades like having to buy new accessories & “upgraded” versions of last generation games for no reason & you can use the computer as a computer outside of gaming, it’s a no brainer to me these days.

I’ve had my GTX 1080 & i5 4690K combo for around 4 years now, I bought the parts used & half of the games I throw at it still hit 4K 60fps which the most powerful consoles of this generation would dream of being able to do. I’m in the process of upgrading due to the new consoles coming out & I’ll be able to sell the parts for more than a current generation console.

Got mine in the mail today and find out the upgraded version of madden won’t even be available until December, so now I have a $500 box sitting on my floor collecting dust. I guess I’ll buy the new call of duty tomorrow just for something to play but f--- man!

Fam, I’m dying out here. Best Buy is some b---- a--- n----s. My delivery said today, now it’s saying tomorrow. n----- this the wackest s--- ever. I don’t wanna play my f---ing ps4, b. I rather beat my meat against the couch than play this s---. I spent 544 dollars or whatever it was. I wanna play some next gen s---.

b---- a--- Best Buy. f--- you n----s. Dead a--- last time i was at Best Buy physically was to meet SLAUGHTERHOUSE. World star hip hop gave me a slaughterhouse air freshener, and some fake Money to throw during the performance of throw it away... inside of a Best Buy. Got to meet the group tho. Meeting Joe was awesome, Joell was a loser but really excited to meet someone slightly interested in him, Royce is an alcoholic b---- that wears sunglasses inside, and Crooked I just be there.

Step one of purchasing a PS5, get a TV that does it justice. I've had my TV now for about 7 years and even then it was last year's model.

It's a Full HD 3D TV. It was great when I got it and it's still doing great now but I won't see the visual difference moving from a PS4 to a PS5 without utilising 4k.


Therefore this is on my hit list. 6 months ago it was £1699. Last week it was £1399. Early Black Friday deals online have brought it down to £1299 today.

I'm going to wait until Black Friday to see if it's reduced any more. If it goes to £1099 then it's a done deal and I'll pay for out there and then. £1199 and I'll strongly consider it. Anything more than that and I'll wait until the 2021 model is released and this goes down in price because of that.
