Sep 8, 2020 Release date for SEX apparently just leaked. November 10 for $499, $35 a month with Xbox all access subscription. Looks like a pretty good deal
Sep 12, 2020 "Estimated retail price". Which means they'll drop it to 449 if Sony choose to undercut them. I do like the pay monthly price point though. I'm still committed to getting the PS5, there's no doubt about that. But gotta admire Microsoft's hustle. On a side note, the Series S is soooo ugly.
Sep 12, 2020 alrighty then. new playstation event coming Wednesday https://blog.playstation.com/2020/09/12/watch-live-playstation-5-showcase-on-wednesday-september-16/ They say "estimated retail price" because it is up to the retailer to set the price at the store. MSRP=manufacturer's suggested retail price. the price is not going to change between now and launch. But I agree that the Series S d--- ugly. I think the Series X is ugly too but the green tint behind the vent is kinda cool.
Sep 12, 2020 PS5 without a doubt, never liked XBOX All PlayStation consoles have been superior in every way
Sep 12, 2020 PS5, I've already got 2K for it so kind don't have a choice now anyway. I've never been a crazy gamer and have always had Playstation so would have got that again anyway tbh.
Sep 12, 2020 is their any good games even coming out launch day? this feels like a wait till 2021, like every console ever released.
Sep 13, 2020 Guess we'll find out on Wednesday. But yeah, launch titles are looking a bit sparse. It's almost like they're banking on the backwards compatibility with PS4 games to be a system seller. It's still exciting to see how it all plays out bit no matter what I'm still gonna wait 6-12 months to buy it.
Sep 13, 2020 pc g---. i will get a ps5 for the exclusives eventually tho. i have xbox game pass for pc so for a lot of the microsoft releases that are exclusives for xbox.. i will have them on launch day included with my subscription. pretty sick.
Sep 14, 2020 PC for me, consoles are more inferior than ever in my opinion. You’re basically paying the same dosh for a locked in PC at this point. Same money, all drawbacks besides exclusives which aren’t enough to make me drop half a G on, especially if it’s going to be another generation with 30FPS. Can’t wait to upgrade my 1080 to a 3070/3080 whatever I end up going for.
Sep 14, 2020 How so? No party chat, graphics & frame rate downgrades compared to Xbox 360 due to abnormal CELL architecture. Xbox 360 also had a huge array of backwards compatibility to the previous generation. There’s other factors the PlayStation beat Xbox with like free online play & a blu ray player built in (which came at an expense of an extra $100 tbf) - but the daily impact of that isn’t as much as the benefits the 360 had by any means imo. There was times where the 360 was outperforming the PS3 by 20FPS in games whilst the PS3 was exhibiting screen tearing as well. I owned both platforms & a PC during that generation btw.
Sep 15, 2020 PS3 was just difficult to code on. Cell had so much power that it could be used as a supercomputer. And when you utilized it right you got games like uncharted 2,3, last of us and god of war 3 etc.
Sep 15, 2020 I've been a PS fan since the PS1 days but even I can say that Xbox "won" the PS3 generation. That's one of the reasons that the PS4 generation has been so good to watch, because PS were the comeback kings. They were swirling the drain but they just did everything right and now look at them. Question is, will we see Xbox come back fighting this generation? PS has a hugely greater install base and Xbox have already lost the game of chicken by revealing price and date first. Ball is very much in PS's court.
Sep 15, 2020 I think PS have learned their lesson since the ps3 tbh fam. Trouble with pc is u have to keep updating that s--- which constantly costs money f--- that.
