Eminem has been a lot more active in the past couple years. Dropping on average 1 album a year for the past 3 years.

So how would you rank his albums post hiatus?

    My ranking:

    Recovery
    Relapse
    ------------
    MMLP2
    MTBMB
    Kamikaze
    Revival

Haven't revisited any of his last 4 albums after the first few spins. Especially the last 3.

Recovery remains the album I will still go back to on occasion. I'd say it has aged fairly well. And for me, is easily the best album he's put out post hiatus.

I want to enjoy Relapse but it's the concept I just don't get on with. Recovery will always have a certain place in my heart and I never thought it would be lodged from the spot it holds but MTBMB seems to have done that.

My rankings are always without bonus songs.

Both MMLP2 and Relapse could easily move up a place or 2 (especially MMLP2) including bonus tracks.

1.Relapse - the most consistent one, cohesive sound, incredible flow, artistic feel, I don't mind f---ing accents, what's the deal? (maybe because English is my second language).

    2. Music to Be Murdered By - great album from start to finish. A lot of bangers. Young voice. Some speedy flow and other show-offs are unnecessary though.

3.Kamikaze - album with incredible replay value, and extremely energetic piece of work. Em seems so young and honest on it. Immature and naive, yes, but people need to understand that it is what Eminem is. If they don't like his complaining or youthful aggression, just don't listen to him anymore. You don't go and tell, for example, Stephen King to write historical romantic novels.it is not what SK does, the f---! With MTBMB Em proved he is far from his final bow. He probably will release a mature album in his 60s.

4.Revival - I love it for WOW, Believe, River, Untouchable, Framed, Nowhere Fast In Your Head, Castle, Arose, and don't mind most of the remaining tracks. For me it was much welcome breath of fresh air after Recovery and MMLP2. Much less shouting, less hoarse voice, and more versatile, interesting flows. Some hooks are atrocious though.

5.MMLP2 - I still revisit Bad Guy, Rhyme or Reason, a------, Berserk, Rap God, Monster, and Evil Twin. On some tracks his voice sounds horrible, and some instrumentals are downright horrendous. But the worst thing is Em came across as someone who doesn't know his own work. If bonus tracks had ended up on the main track list instead of some lackluster joints, this album would be much, much higher on my list.

6.Recovery - after years, I am able to appreciate the album. It is cohesive and consistently good actually, from start to finish. Unfortunatelly, Recovery's heights are Em's future albums' lows actually. And the album is too repetitive. You need to be in the mood for that much shouting.

He hasn't put out anything close to as good as Relapse since. I guess either MMLP2 or MTBMB are next best.
