Mar 12, 2020 yeh i'd like a fresh take on this as well. at the start, i was also just echoing what i was hearing that "the media is just hyping this up", but i've since taken a step back and am wondering what "responsible reporting" is on something like this? do we really think the media is still fear-mongering? or how should it have been/be handled to quiet those saying they're making it worse?
Mar 12, 2020 They're sensationalizing it. They get money through ads, more people watch more money they make. When I did check the news last week they were making it sound like it was Ebola. They do this with every story that may cause a panic

The XFL is going to stay on schedule and will draw in even more viewers, since people won’t be able to watch their other sports. Plus with how selfish Vince McMahon is with money. It will be weird not watching my usual sport programs. That dumbass NBA player f----- some foreign prostitute who had the virus and now all of sports are temporarily being suspended. Or, Mother Nature is going through a natural cleansing and this disease is going to get extremely out of hand. Earth naturally kills humans, before humans destroy Earth.
Mar 12, 2020 Oh s---. Vince is probably furious right now. That selfish f---. Sort of sucks though because there’s literally going to be zero sports to watch. And I have a feeling the virus numbers are just starting out and we’re going to see a huge increase this month. Or it starts dying down by the end of the month hopefully. I think baseball players would be fine, as long as they don’t allow fan interaction, signings, s--- like that. It’s not really a body to body sport like football and basketball. But at the end of the day, it’s about their safety. So I can’t really blame them suspending MLB for now. As long as the new Show game doesn’t get pushed back, I’ll be entertained for a while.
