Vast majority of people will survive catching this just as the vast majority of people will survive catching the flu. The scary part of this is how much the extreme measures are shutting down the world. No one has ever seen anything like this.
Mar 15, 2020 Incorrect, this isn't a stronger flu. Young people are dying too now. You do know that the Chinese dr that contracted this virus was perfectly healthy, 33 years old, and still died. This is going to mutate if drastic measures aren't put into place. We're acting slowly (UK) lock everything down, contain the virus before it has chance to evolve. That biohazard unit in China is sketchy as f---, f---ing Nuke China, man.

Mar 15, 2020 Right. There are some low income families that are being deprived of basic necessities now because of this though. In SF, they opened up dozens of free lunch stations for low income families that: a) aren’t being paid right now b) whose kids aren’t getting school meals because schools are closed & c) can’t go grocery shopping because everything is pretty much cleaned out.
Mar 15, 2020 Btw something I read is that if you do catch the virus you should take acetaminophen (Tylenol) not ibuprofen (Advil) to reduce fever cuz I guess the latter can diminish your body’s immune response.
