Mar 16, 2020 Do you know if takeout/delivery services are still open? Man this s--- is crazy. My apartment complex is shutting down all amenities areas. It makes total sense why they’re doing it, but it’s still a shock though. These areas are extremely popular amongst our residents. But I’d rather be safe than sorry. Last thing anyone would want is for this virus to spread like wildfire throughout the entire building. At least HEB is more or less back in stock with mostly everything and appears to be past the insanity from the weekend. HEB is the f---ing s---. I love that store. Are you HEB or Kroger?
Mar 16, 2020 i don't follow that last part. why would they lie about shutting down the city & businesses? this isn't china -- everybody has a social media platform there and can confirm or deny.
Mar 16, 2020 You don’t understand me. I never said they would lie about shutting down the city, businesses. I can find that info out myself. I just don’t trust their media outlets, and I never will. Nvm. Life’s too short and 3/4 of the population could potentially die from this. If we don’t find a vaccine that completely gets rid of the virus. Hurry and buy multiple Biohazard Suits online, before prices continued to rise. I’ve been buying some since SL. And me and my dad helped my uncle build his 40k underground bunker. On top of a massive hill in the middle on no where. It looks like a regular picnic pavilion. But there’s one concrete slab that actually pulls up, and that’s how you get inside. Only one way in and one way out. If s--- gets bad enough, you’re welcome to come take shelter here. You just have to learn how to s---t a gun. Reading a compass. Living in the wild for 1-2 weeks while hunting and bringing the food back to the bunker. I’m really not trolling. My over paranoid uncle really went through with his dream of making a bunker. It’s in my blood. I can’t help it.
Mar 16, 2020 I believe they’ll still do takeout/delivery. Dine in is for sure banned though. Lowkey hoping the Timmy Chan’s on MLK keeps the drive through open. I’m HEB all the way. Actually worked at one for a few years. Good company. I got friends who still work there and they said s--- is getting a bit less chaotic. Michael Watts was posting pictures of fully stocked shelves in the Northside. Fully stocked, even with toilet paper and towels.
Mar 16, 2020 Imagine working in a grocery store right now. f--- that would s---. My older friend is a manager for a big grocery chain and told me it’s ridiculous atm. When I was enrolled in college full time, I worked at the same grocery store part time and took some serious semesters off. Anyways, when the news was calling for 4-6 inches of snow. All the old people would flock to the grocery store and stock pile up on groceries. And that area always gets the less amount of projected snow. They’d do all that s--- and blow around 250-300 and ended up getting 2-3 inches of snow. EDIT: I didn’t want San Francisco media outlets to read my other part of my post and exaggerate the entire thing.
Mar 17, 2020 Yup HEB is the s---. I went there today to pick up a prescription and since it wasn’t packed and crazy when I got there, I did a little shopping. Everything I needed was in stock. I didn’t need toilet paper so I didn’t even go down that aisle but I saw TP in other people’s carts so I’m assuming they were restocked. People working at grocery stores during times like this deserve all the respect, patience, and politeness from shoppers. They are so critical. They probably deserve to make at least a little extra money too during times like this. I couldn’t even imagine having to deal with all the selfish losers who went out shopping this past weekend stockpiling stuff for no reason. We don’t have shortages of anything at grocery stores. Just buy what you need/normally would. Stores will remain open throughout the entire next couple months. If you need food or medicine, you can always go shopping to get it. There is no reason to buy a years worth of toilet paper smh. And if you did it to price gouge and sell online, f--- you. I hope no one buys any of it and you wasted hundreds or thousands of dollars. f---ing c----.
Mar 17, 2020 Dean Koontz’s book The Eyes Of Darkness mentions a deadly virus that will appear in 2020 called the “Wuhan 400,” which he described as a “severe pneumonia-like illness” that spreads attacking “the lungs and bronchial tubes” and “resisting all known treatments.”
Mar 17, 2020 I’m still alive. Only because I walk around outside with my biohazard suit on with my ar-15 strapped across my chest. But yeah, I was a little extra tired for work this morning. Wonder why.
Mar 17, 2020 man, they just shut down my local gym starting today. the amount of people coming to the gym had decreased--but it didn't seem like a major drop-off. they had some type of meeting today and decided to close the gym for the next 2 weeks. guess i'll have to work out outside for the next couple weeks have any of you stopped going to the gym for safety reasons?
Mar 17, 2020 LMAO Biohazard suit Please please do a video with said suit, and I will send you a Pizza.
