Naw. If Eminem could still rap even half of what he could in 2000, rappers wouldn’t s--- all over his new music and would be semi scared. Eminem is irrelevant as f--- now, and that makes you stans furious. I randomly saw there was a new Eminem interview on YouTube. It was a week old and only had 100k views. 6’9 does an interview and it’ll have over a million within 24 hours. That’s how f---ing irrelevant Eminem is. He had his 3-4 year run. But he didn’t leave an impact on the rap game like Jay Z has. Everyone s----s all over revival and it hurts the old mans feelings lol That garbage album took 5 years to make, and Eminem does nothing but sit in his house and a studio. Let that sink in a moment. His legacy is shot. No one new looks up to him or respects him. If he wasn’t white, no one would even remember the dude.

I stand corrected. I forgot all about the greatness that was Eminem losing to Ja Rule in 2003 and the timeless classic LEAVE DAT BOY ALONE in 04.

The most drama in his life? Pistol whipping somebody?

But okay. Let's go by your logic. Drama = Great music to be made. In 2006 his best friend was murdered/murdered somebody, he got remarried and divorced and almost unintentionally killed himself because of drug addiction. With the exception of Deja Vu why had he been a shell of himself and downright awful the last 14 years?

The cracks started to show with Em in 2003 with that remix for Realest Killas "stomping, in my air force ones" but he was redeeming himself with classic tracks like The Sauce, One Day At A Time and We All Die One Day.
2004 was pretty evident with the release of D12 World that the Eminem machine had broken. The talent was no longer the same. RIP 99-03

Eminem’s fall off didn’t come apparent to me until the straight form the lab songs leaked. I remember hearing we as Americans and love you more and how they were rumored to be on Eminem’s new album. I thought there was no way cause the songs were so underwhelming in comparison to his last 3 albums. Then encore dropped and I couldn’t even listen to it in full. that album made the two songs I mentioned sound like gold in comparison.
