May 24, 2020In my opinion—as cliché as it sounds—happiness is the ultimate success.
Not momentary/situational happiness; true, genuine intrinsic happiness for you & your loved ones, transcending all facets of your life.
That’s what everyone should be striving for. Sincere happiness will enable you to live a richer life than money ever could.

For me, its being satisfied w what u have in life (different aspects) and being able to do the things you want to do, to an extent ofc, that make you happy.

The idea of success varies from one person to another. However, to succeed at whatever it is that you're after, you have to understand that failure is a step to the path of success. You gotta fail at some point, to learn something which as a result will help you progress.
My idea of success is being happy, doing and practicing whatever I love or have interest in and enjoy doing so. Success is anything that brings, joy, happiness, benefits me in growing and learning as a person and gives me a peace of mind.Michael Myers, Ordinary Joel, Sign Language and 1 other person like this. -

Success has to be measured otherwise there is no anchor point as to the difference between success and failure.
Is success a feeling? Is it a list of things you are happy doing? Is there a compromise to that list? Ie, is it success if you get to do the things you want but have to do things you don't want to get there?
To me, success is measured in money, or a net worth. And time to spend with the people I like and doing the things I like. And seeing my friends and family to enjoy my time with them.
Money is the measure because it gives me something to aim for, a goal. This way every day/week/month/hear I will know of I am on the right route or not. The output of this is that I get to spend some of that money socialising. And if I don't, then something is equally wrong.
So the formula is simple really;
money + time = successMichael Myers, Ordinary Joel, Sign Language and 1 other person like this. -

Obviously without money (especially in 'our' world) its not good but being rich as f--- doesn't have to make your life a succes either. I dunno if I believe all those young rich rappers and other artist are happy, if they were why do all that r-----ed bs? Personally I'm satisfied right now but I have always pushed myself to do better, not for money as a main goal, but to keep improving. But that is also different for everyone.Ordinary Joel, Rodamon and Sign Language like this.
