    it's nice that you get to see this as an abstract problem but cops in america k--- and unjustly incarcerate countless people every year. they're all culpable.

    the policing model in america makes no sense and leads, for a variety of reasons, to racist violence on behalf of the state. of course a society needs people who are trained to deal with active shooters; people who are trained to respond to domestic disturbances and mental health crises; people who provide aid after car accidents; people to direct traffic when lights go out. that all these things are folded into one means that poorly-trained, self-selected (disproportionately violent + racist) people who have been empowered to decide who lives and dies are lurking at every street corner in the most vulnerable neighborhoods in the country. the cops make america more dangerous, not safer.

    "black on black crime" is a racist red herring. it's just crime. white people victimize other white people all the time. you're only racializing it because you like the cops carrying out their little piecemeal genocides and want to retrofit a justification.

    wrong. many black people have the same views.. but are told to they arent black enough. do you think its okay for white people like joe Biden to decide a black persons believes.. and wow you are really downplaying black on black crime? i guess u are used to the suburbs but i grew up in urban areas and gun shots every night.. murder too.. now that i moved up i dont deal with none of that. i dont believe its the black peoples fault but its def the biggest issue in the black community.
