    I also quite liked the first half, only to be severely disappointed by the second. With that said, if I recall correctly, part II does have that scene where Stacy Martin, on a dare, stuffs silverware in her vagina before clanging out of the restaurant. It's the stuff of movie magic.

    I actually saw a screener of it before it leaked on KG but it was trash quality so I'm hyped for an HD watch. Even in trash quality it's still top 5 of 2016.

    I haven't done my "Movies on my radar" posts this year, but this is a reminder to check out Assayas' Personal Shopper when available.

    I was confounded by it when I first saw it at NYFF and I still don't know if it completely works, but it has a hauntingly elusive quality that makes me eager to revisit it. Plus KStew is excellent in it.

    All great except for Somewhere. Your Knight of Cups comparison inspired me to watch it. Think they're total opposites tbh
