@CharlieWork Liked your previous question and response, but don't have the time yet for a thoughtful response :emoji_slight_frown:

Movies on my radar for May:
    May 1
    - Avengers: Age of Ultron (Joss Whedon), Far from the Maddening Crowd (Thomas Vinterberg), Welcome to Me (Shira Piven), Far from Men (David Oelhoffen)
May 15- Mad Max: Fury Road (George Miller), Pitch Perfect 2 (Elizabeth Banks), Slow West (John Maclean), Good k--- (Andrew Niccol)
    May 22- Tomorrowland (Brad Bird)
May 29- Results (Andrew Bujalski), Heaven Knows What (Safdie Brothers)

Though I'm amped for Mad Max, I'm only mildly interested in most of the others.

I'm not super-hyped for it but I think Tomorrowland might surprise me. Most everything Bird's done has been great, and he could very well pull off something amazing.

Great stuff, though admittedly when I saw Werckmeister Harmonies about 5-6 years ago, I was bored to tears. With that said, I saw and loved The Turin Horse a couple years later and the most action that one had was an old man eating a potato. So...I'm just going to say I wasn't in right mood for Werckmeister Harmonies the first time. Will have to revisit with your thoughts in mind!

Trailer for my favorite movie of the year so far, The Look of Silence

Hmm...very tough. They're both very different in their approach, but equally powerful. I guess I'd probably give The Act of Killing the slight edge. It has that surreal quality that separates it and makes you think every few minutes, "I can't believe wtf I'm watching." I'm certainly not the most avid watcher of documentaries, but I can't say I've seen one quite like The Act of Killing.

I saw Frantisek Vlácil's Marketa Lazarová (1967), i recomend this to you guys. The plot is actually quite simple but the style this film has makes it hard to follow, not that it makes it worst, on the contrary it makes it more interesting and unique, however, you may need a rewatch to catch all the details. I will give it a rewatch sometime but right now i can say this is one of the best cinematographies i've seen ever, really, ever. The soundtrack is also very captivating.

    Far From the Madding Crowd

    Review for Next Projection:

    http://nextprojection.com/2015/05/10/far-madding-crowd-review/

76/100 - With its picturesque beauty and its affable characters, Far From the Madding Crowd uses convention and predictability in a positive manner to make a film that is not only very well crafted, but very easy to like.
