Sancho The Bailiff (Kenji Mizoguchi, 1954) Every Mizoguchi film i see is better than the last one i saw 8.5/10

Suspiria (Argento) The great direction and the amazing soundtrack half-saved a movie with weak performances by actors and a screenplay very close to a disaster 6/10

No (Pablo Larraín) Don't know why i didn't see this earlier 8/10

Jauja. I wasn't quite convinced after it finished but it keeps getting better every time i think of it 8/10

Recently caught the original (1962) and the remake (2004) of The Manchurian Candidate. I think I prefer the remake despite how badly they ruined the ending and how they scrapped the surrealism. I think the first is more important given the period it was made in and the political paranoia it addressed. However, the reboot did utilize the post 9/11 world as an apt substitute and I think the plot was a bit tighter.

I was totally wrong about Invasion of the Body Snatchers being about fear of space travel. Pretty clearly also a reaction to the Red Scare masked with science fiction.

Norte, The End Of History is really great

The film follows 3 characters whose lifes are completely changed after one of them commits a crime.

It's amazing how from a single action 3 different stories grow out of it and they all complement each other to deliver strong statements. Not to mention it's unique style composed among other things by a static camera, wide shots with no close-ups, this all sets the appropiate tone and helps you to get more into the film.

i won't expand more because i s--- at this, you get the idea, just watch it. I can see this around my 5th spot for the best of the year. 9/10

I hope this gets a nomination, but i doubt it

really all u need to do is go on a torrent site go to video and search by most recent. that's all that's to it. i just don't have time to check constantly

I had the top 100 page on The Pirate Bay bookmarked before that went down. That was like my sole source for downloading new movies.

yeah but how do u think people find out what's real? someone bites the bullet. there isn't a special forum that gets them first. gone girl isn't even a screener. it was released on iTunes

Primewire tells you the quality and doesn't lie to my knowledge. You can stream to check before bothering with a torrent. Whereyouwatch will let you sign up for alerts which is the best way to go about it imo.

they don't appear on primewire first. They start on torrent sites and then are uploaded there from random people that have downloaded them.
