May 6, 2016 Agreed. The final fight scene between Cap and Iron Man was possibly my favorite fight in Marvel history. I got a tear in my eye at the end of that scene cuz it was so good (don't wanna give away any spoilers).
May 6, 2016 @asvdawg you think this is the best Marvel movie yet? I think it might be. Definitely Top 3.
May 6, 2016 Yes definitely top 3 My only problem was the ending of the movie Spoiler I dont like how the ending feels incomplete, like the bad blood between the group isnt fully resolved Spoiler also the airport scene was amazing because every character brought something significant in showcasing their uniqueness and powers, but yes final battle seen was also amazing too.
May 6, 2016 My current Top 5 Marvel movie rankings.. 1. Civil War 10/10 2. Winter Soldier 10/10 3. Avengers 9/10 4. Age Of Ultron 8/10 5. Captain America: First Avenger 6/10 Next up I would have Guardians Of The Galaxy and Ant-Man (both 6/10). I'm not really a fan of the Thor, Hulk, and Iron Man solo films. As far as the Top 3 they're all amazing and it's hard to choose which is #1. But I have to give the edge to the two Russo Brother films.
May 6, 2016 Its gonna be hard to top this movie within the MCU, seeing it again later tonight. Gotta say I thought my favorite character would be Spidey but Black Panther was so gnarly in this and I can't wait for his solo film in 2018.
May 6, 2016 Do you think this is the best MCU movie yet? I think so. I'm thinking about going to see it again as well.
May 6, 2016 On second viewing I liked it more. Still a litlle flabby next to Winter Soldier, but it's a solid top 5 MCU film and better than either of last year's entries.
May 6, 2016 Just did a full MCU marathon before watching Civil War tonight...this would be my current rankings... 11) Iron Man 2 (felt super rushed and messy...a lot of the humor was REALLY forced as well...awful climax that made Whiplash seem like a punk b----) 10) Thor: The Dark World (really cheesy plot, really whack villian...the most expensive "Power Rangers" episode ever made?? Possibly...still enjoyed it though, haha) 9) The Incredible Hulk (great first half, really mediocre second half...the part where Hulk rips out Abomination's bone and stabs him with it makes the entire movie worth it though) 8) The Avengers: Age of Ultron (entertaining to a degree, but everything about this feels forced and rushed...worst scene is any Marvel film is when Hawkeye is talking to Black Widow about redesigning his house, painful) 7) Captain America: The First Avenger (loved the throwback vibe of this movie, thought it captured exactly what they were going for...only complaint is Red Skull...could have been G.O.A.T....wasn't) 6) Iron Man 3 (really entertaining and funny, obviously didn't like what they did with Mandarin, and the whole thing has a feeling of "been there, done that" but overall really enjoyed it) 5) Thor (much much better than I remember it being in the theater...great performance by Chris Hemsworth and really cool plot that forces Thor to be humble and EARN his hammer) 4) Ant-Man (Paul Rudd...) 3) The Avengers (plot was pretty whack, but obviously an all time classic just for what was accomplished and how well everything came together...last 25 minutes are pure happiness) 2) Guardians of the Galaxy (I consider this s--- an all time classic...took 5 totally unknown characters and made you love them...funniest Marvel movie, and maybe the best performance in a Marvel movie by Pratt) 1) Captain America: Winter Soldier (the pinnacle of what Marvel has done, absolutely f---ing awesome in every way possible...I'll never forget being in the theater and how I felt watching that hand to hand fight between Cap & Bucky, awesome awesome awesome)
May 6, 2016 just got out of my second viewing, airport scene is the best scene of marvel history for me
May 7, 2016 Spoiler Spider-Man Tag. Peter is in his bedroom icing a black eye and fiddling with his webshooter. A light suddenly projects out of it, and Peter scrambles to hide it as Aunt May comes in. May asks who he was fighting. He replies that it was a Steve from Brooklyn. He also said he had a friend that was huge, like really huge. She leaves and Peter checks out his new tech. A Spider-Man logo is projected on the ceiling. A title card comes up saying "Spider-Man Will Return"
May 7, 2016 I really loved this. We did a review and s--- if you guys wanna peep it: I really wanna see what else they can do with these characters, honestly. It's been a pretty good year for superhero movies. Classic s---.
May 7, 2016 Haven't seen Antman but GotG, Avengers, Ironman 1 and Hulk are my favorite marvel movies. Y'all saying this is up there. d--- can't wait to see this
May 7, 2016 Any top 5 MCU movie list that doesnt have Iron Man 1 is void Top 5 for me: Civil War Captain America 2 Iron Man 1 Avengers Guardians of the Galaxy
May 7, 2016 This is better than any of the movies you listed. I highly recommend it. Ant-Man is pretty good too.
