yeah, its hard to say because he has such a small size of games. he's pretty much a question mark and only time will tell. hopefully he can provide some stability at QB for you guys. if he can, deandre hopkins will probably get even better---which is scary considering how good he was last season with QB's like hoyer/mallet

    4-0?

dude, they aren't even gonna get to 1-0. they're gonna lose week 1 to @Loyalty's Cardinals

that defense is gonna f---in' k--- jimmy GARBAGEoppololololololol

So do you think he told the equipment managers to deflate the footballs or nah? I think he did, but it's obvious this case has been about more than that for a LONG time.

You could also throw in that incident about the Falcons piping in crowd noise a year or 2 ago.

Brady deserved a 2 game suspension and should have copped a deal a long time ago without actually acknowledging guilt. Even though it's obvious he played a part in it

Yeah man, hopefully we'll finally have a solid qb.

Glad to see you pulling for us to have a good qb, as a texans fan that means alot.:wiggins:

And yeah, if Hopkins was doin great with mediocre qbs throwing at him, imagining a much better qb throwing to him is fun :allears:

Fuller will open up a lot for Hopkins too, he has elite speed and people will have to play with safety help

No, he didn't deserve s---. Maybe, the worst, a fine.

The Patriots deserved a fine of MAYBE 100K (since it's a second time offense). No suspensions, no gigantic fines. It's bs.

Like, you guys (not you specifically) realize that the original report of Deflategate was wrong? They originally said 11 of 12 footballs were 2PSI below the legal limit (12.5 PSI).

However, it was revealed that only ONE football was at 10.5 PSI, and the rest were legal, or at 12.4 PSI.

    Deflategate is f---ing bs.

The ONLY reason Brady doesn't have a case is because of the 2011 bargaining agreement that the NFLPA agreed to, which gives Goodell full control of punishments and penalties. The problem is, Goodell has NO BASIS to make this suspension. There's legit no evidence, and even then, it's ONE FOOTBALL OUT OF 12!

That's why ESPN and Chris Mortensen are dead to me. f--- that organization and that hack of a reporter. He never apologized to the Patriots' organization for getting the report wrong, and ESPN never apologized for sensationalizing the story and accusing the Patriots and Brady of cheating.

Yeah, I forgot about the Falcons issue.

To me, the biggest case of cheating is PED use. That's a CLEAR advantage that someone is getting over his peers. Granted, it's pretty widespread through sports, but, considering I never did it while playing football, I look down upon it as a personal preference.

Like, not to make this a Peyton vs Brady thing, and not even saying Peyton did it, but what Peyton allegedly did was WAY worse than Brady. Peyton extended his career and enhanced his natural playing abilities, if the allegations were true.

And what bothers me is that there was no witch hunt. It's like the NFL swept it under the rug, while they go full force at Brady for one f---ing football being underinflated.

I also consider greasing your jerseys to be cheating. Stick um isn't really cheating to me, because look at what most of the receivers wear for gloves. If football wanted it to be "fair" then don't allow gloves lol.

I honestly don't consider pumping in crowd noise as cheating. I played in games where teams would have their bands playing insanely loud while we were on offense, and that's just apart of the game, to me. The NFL promotes stadiums being loud. Who cares if they pump it in. It sucks, but that's homefield advantage IMO.

Do I think Brady told them to deflate footballs?

Anyone who plays football knows how stupid this is. No QB is going to go and measure the PSI's of every football to make sure they're below the legal limit. He probably just told the ball boys "hey make sure they're soft. Deflate them as far as you can." and that's it. That's why, sure, the text messages LOOK bad, but they're really not. They probably knew Tom liked his footballs deflated and made jokes.

Coming out and apologizing in Mortensen's case would be admitting he was wrong and make him look bad, people that hate Brady and the Pats found him guilty from that very 1st time and always will.

Kobe didn't really r--- that girl but that was the original story so over a decade later he's still a r--ist to some. Brady will always be a cheater to some unfortunately and it's pathetic really. Football fans who can't appreciate how great Brady is are idiots.

Exactly. I know Mortensen will never do it, but he created this s----storm with his false report. Once you read "11 out of 12 footballs were 2 PSI under inflated" It looks SO bad. ESPN and Chris Mortensen SHOULD have came out and made an entire day of talking about how they f----- up, or at least, defended Brady.

Even when I read that first report, I was like... f---. However, it came out like a month later that it was false, and NOBODY was reporting it. It blew my f---ing mind. I thought Deflategate would go away, and Tom's name would be restored. Then NFL keeps f---ing pushing this? It makes no sense.

Instead, they didn't, and just like your Kobe comparison, he's labeled a cheater, which Tom isn't. He got royally f----- over.

The thing too is that Rodger Goodell doesn't want to do this to Brady. He's in a s--- situation where he looks bad no matter what. You think Goodell wants to do this to ths Krafts? It's known Goodell and the Kraft family are close. Goodell doesn't want Brady to not play in games this season, Brady is a money maker. This comes from pressure from the rest of the owners in the league. Goodell works for the owners. They vote him in, he has to keep them happy. And my guess is that majority or owners want some kind of suspension.

See, this is why I knew you were joking before, a------.

That's exactly what it is. 31 other owners basically own Goodell. I mean, I don't blame him, necessarily, because if he refuses to pursue it, the NFL owners will run him out of the NFL.

Still think it was a stupid pick by the cowboys. Granted he still will have a great year but anyone can run behind that line and they could use a lot of help on D

I just hope there's a day when I can think of Zeke Elliot and not have that image of him in the half shirt or whatever from the draft pop into my head.
