the reason i went with ben over cam is because ben has already proven he can be play well consistently.

yes, cam is younger, but last season was the first time he had a truly great season. now i'm not saying he can't keep it up, i'm just saying we don't know yet.

and jamal charles is coming off a big injury and is either currently 30 years old or d--- close. so that's why i went with lacy

if your talking fantasy, ben is a go to, nobody gets him early and hes always left hanging.
he has brown, wheaton, DHB, sammie coates, and leveon is one of the best pass rush in the league

If you take Big Ben as your QB you better have a reliable backup option. Not worth the risk IMO but don't mind me I've just won almost all of my leagues the last 2 seasons.

Apparently they painted the field wrong, and there's some uneven surfaces.

f---ing bs. I was really looking forward to watching this.

if you think cam over ben is the right move, i'm OK with that. but this post suggests picking ben over cam is absurd.

c'mon dude, cam has only had one great season. didn't you learn anything from your RG3 prediction? lol

Big Ben is not a good fantasy QB, great real life QB, but not reliable at all in fantasy. Even when Cam wasn't the MVP he was still a solid QB to have in fantasy

I'd go with cam over Ben just bc cam has his second best weapon back this year

It is absurd if you consider Cam's rushing stats and Ben's unreliability on so many levels coupled with his age... Cam has had more than 1 great fantasy season too. Cam is clearly a tier above Ben (who is obviously on the decline) at this point in their careers.

Going off of the last 5 seasons, not just Cam's "first great season" last year, the best case scenario with Ben is that he'll stay healthy all year (LOL) beat Cam in passing yards slightly and they come close in TD's so you can take your pick with what you want for extra stats: Ben's extra INT's or Cam's 500+ rushing yards and 6+ rush TD's

RG3 and Cam aren't comparable situations at all I hope you can actually see that.

Without knowing the exact rules to your keeper league and just assuming your league rules aren't too out of the normal I would keep Cam. Just because his ceiling is higher than Ben. I wouldn't expect the same type of numbers as last year because he was just out if this world but a small drop off is still worth keeping. I'm assuming your league only starts 1QB right? So in that case even more worth the risk. If Cam can't produce the numbers you need the QB position is so deep now a days in with the league going so pass/offense happy you could draft a serviceable backup option rounds 12 and beyond or stream your QB weekly.

Edit, NVM looks like you already went with Ben though from what I read.

Ben had a record season last year whatchu mean he's on the decline

I drafted Cam, but Ben was the third QB to go after Rodgers in my draft

    threw 2 500 yd / 6 td games
injuries bugged him throughout the year can't really call that a decline
it is a risk tho since he is injury prone

huh? he threw 6 TD's in a game the season before last, he threw for much more than 2500 yards last year that woulda been absolutely horrific if he only threw for 2500 yards :headbang:

I agree with this. For people who have been playing fantasy for at least 5 years, know this is a fact. Cam was a solid start even when his team was atrocious. Ben has always been an above average QB but just recently started putting up stats.

Let's compare Ben and Cam's passing AND rushing stats since 2011 (when Cam entered the league).

    Ben since 2011

    20,493 yards passing , 326 yards rushing = 20,819 yards
    128 passing touchdowns, 1 rushing touchdown = 129 touchdowns
    61 INT 19 fumble lost = 80 turnovers

    Cam since 2011

    18,263 yards passing, 3,207 yards rushing = 21,470 yards
    117 passing touchdowns, 43 rushing touchdowns = 160 touchdowns
    64 interceptions, 15 fumble lost = 79 turnovers

Now, if we compare Cam and Ben during the last 3 seasons (since 2013)...

    Ben since 2013

    13,151 yards passing, 155 yards rushing= 13,306 yards
    81 passing touchdowns, 1 rushing touchdown = 82 touchdowns
    39 interceptions, 11 fumbles lost = 50 turnovers

    Cam since 2013

    10,343 passing yards, 1,760 yards rushing = 12,103 yards
    77 passing touchdowns, 21 rushing touchdowns = 98 touchdowns
    35 inteceptions, 10 fumbles lost = 45 turnovers

I mean, looking at those numbers (which matters in fantasy football), how could you possibly pick Ben over Cam? lol.

Ben doesn't exacty light it up like people make it out. He had a great season in 2014 (just as Cam had a great year in 2015), but otherwise, his stats are pretty average.
