In the middle of the field? Really? Lol he was yelling at the ref because he disagreed with the call. You've watched a lot of football and i'm sure you realized that players and coaches yell at refs all the time when they disagree with a call. It's not that big of a deal and like I said it had nothing to do with the game itself. Lions were up 20-7 half way through the 3rd quarter, even after the picked up flag they chose not to go for it on 4th and 1 when they have one of the best power backs in the league and the were up against the Cowboys defense lol. That's just one of the many missed opportunities the Lions had.

As for unfair flags they went both ways. Tyron Smith got his helmet ripped off in the 3rd quarter and their was no flag thrown for illegal hands to the face. Terrance Williams was pushed into a defender and got called for offensive pass interference in the 1st half. Witten got called for a bs hold on what should of been a Murray rushing TD. On a punt, Harris called for a fair catch and was bumped into and their was no flag for that.

The refs were smoking crack all game long, and it affected both teams. I agree with everyone saying Dez shoulda been flagged. There's no way around that. I probably even agree with the PI flag that was picked up (meaning they should have called PI). There were some iffy calls all day. The refs made it hard on both teams, at different points throughout the game. But the players on both sides still had to make plays. The Lions didn't do it. The Cowboys did. Detroit had I think 3 points the entire second half? You can't blame that on officiating.

Here's my shocking Super Bowl pick...
    Cowboys over Ravens

This weekend is Dallas' Super Bowl. If they can get past Green Bay they'll go all the way. They've already proven they can win in Seattle this year. And I don't think there's a truly dominant team in the AFC. Baltimore has already proven they can handle New England and Denver in the postseason. Peyton Manning falls apart when the weather turns cold.

Pat's didn't have Gronkowski and Revis the last time Raven's beat them, plus there defense is much better.

Last time the Pats faced this Ray Lewis/Ed Reed-less Ravens team?

They played IN Baltimore and won 41-7.

Oh, yeah, they didn't have Gronk either.

So, how exactly are they going to beat them?

I can see Dumerville and Suggs giving Brady trouble.

On defense? Pats probably will have trouble against the tight end.

But, a lot of the reason Brady struggled against the old Ravens teams was because of Ed Reed.

    Brady feared Ed Reed.

they beat them by running the ball and getting pressure on Brady, both things they can do so it should be a good game.

Since entering the league in 2008 Flacco has more playoff wins than any other QB, including Peyton and Brady combined. 10-4 with 7 road wins. No other QB has more than 5 total wins or 4 road wins

I'd guess that Baltimore wasn't favored in at least half those games Flacco won too, gotta give him credit he's been a great playoff QB so far in his career. The stats aren't even always pretty but he gets it done, and that's all that matters in the playoffs.

Pats are certainly the better team but you never know what could happen, I'm not counting Baltimore out. I'd give the Ravens a 25% chance of winning or so.

    Edit:

Pats are real good against the run, except against scrambling QB's.

Pats offensive tackles have been garbage lately, so I could see that.

McDaniels sucks, so if the Pats lose, I'm sure I'll be bitching about him.

Flacco is very good in the playoffs.

I don't think the Ravens win this Saturday, but I guarantee Flacco will play a solid game. I doubt he'll turn the ball over.

By the way, how can anyone pick against Seattle? lol They are not losing to anyone.

I'd even pick them against the Pats. They're the best team left in the playoffs.

If the Pats or Seattle lose, it'll be HUGE choke jobs.

They are both, easily, the most complete teams in the playoffs, AND have homefield.

There's no reason either should lose.
