One of my boys used to sell to Gronk and other Pats players and he smoked with them from time to time. He asked Gronk how they can possibly smoke so much during the season without testing positive and he basically said that almost everyone in the league smokes and you have to be either an idiot or being set up (because you're caught in the system) to get caught because you're pretty much always tipped off well in advance before you get tested.

@Boos you guys won the superbowl with nick foles--a QB who has been a BACKUP for the vast majority of his career. kirk cousins has played well consistently since he became the starter for the Redskins. now if you don't believe in kirk in big games/pressure moments.......you have the right to feel that way. but i think you're putting too much emphasis on kirk.......rather than the TEAM

in other news.....eagles sign WR jordan matthews

Kirk crumbles in big time moments, and as far as I am concerned so does your defense. I just don't see Cousins beating 2 or 3 of either the Eagles, Saints, Falcons, Rams, or Packers.

Matthews is a good band-aid fix for now until Alshon is back then he'll be a solid 4th option in the passing game the rest of the year. Him and Wentz are like best friends too so that helps.

so does our defense? based on what? that ONE NFC title game last season?

like i said, if you don't believe kirk can lead us to superbowl.....i don't have a problem with that. but you made it seem like its far-fetched, and its clearly NOT. s---, if you guys can get there with a guy who has rode the bench for most of his professional days........i don't think its too crazy to suggest that we can make it with a guy who has clearly been much better than nick foles

whooaaa guys! After fighting for it for f---in ever, I finally got Sundays off again starting in November, possibly as early as October if they can hire someone new in time! Soo f---in happy bout it. No more having to worry and request the d--- day off any time the Vikings have a late afternoon or night game, no more worrying about requesting the playoff dates, super bowl etc off.

    Thank f---in God.

Your D crumbled against the Saints too, you guys just got lucky at the end. And clearly much better than Foles in the regular season, yes. Until Cousins gets a ring, I'll take Foles' career over his.

@Boos....are you a troll? the whole reason cousins got paid the way he did is because he's played well consistently. nick foles had ONE good season. the reason the vikings moved on from case keenum........is because they didn't think he would be able to repeat what he did last season. keenum had 7 picks ALL of last season. he already has 4 this season and its only week 3. keenum and foles are a lot alike

Boos high as h--- right now

Hate to say it but I kinda agree with Boos bout the Vikings D choking in the playoffs..I mean they played 4 halfs and s----d in 3 of them including getting absolutely torched in 2 of them..That's not exactly what the best D in the league should do on the big stage.

@TimmyT I know Cousins is a top 10-12 QB in the league, but I've seen him choke time and time again in key moments and until I see him prove otherwise, I'm not ready to say he can win a ring. For instance, if my team scored to go up 2 points with like 1:30 left on the clock, I'm not thinking "Oh no, we left Cousins too much time," like I would with Rodgers, Brees, possibly Ryan if it doesn't involve the redzone. Cousins does not put any fear in my heart. And yea you guys had the best D in the league last year, but like Kon said, for the majority of the post season teams went up and down the field, outside of the Saints first half. Until both of them step up, I'm not betting on you guys to make the super bowl. Of course, that can change because the talent is there, but that's just how I view it right now.

As far as Keenum and Foles being a lot alike, yea maybe, probably like a 31 point difference imo. Also, yea you guys were smart to let Keenum go because he's not a starter, and neither is Foles long-term, but I'm more than happy to send Foles out there when need. He can beat anybody when needed.

@Boos foles can't beat anybody when needed---you needed him to beat tampa and you just lost to them lol

plenty of QB's have had bad moments over and over again in the playoffs/big moments--and then eventually they turned the corner and won the big game. plus, football games don't always come down to pressure moments.

its true that the vikings defense didn't do as good in the post season---but it wasn't entirely their fault. part of it was keenum throwing terrible interceptions that put them in bad situations--more so in the saints game.

if you were serious about this....."Until Cousins gets a ring, I'll take Foles' career over his." then you are definitely posting with your heart and not your head.

its just funny to me that you think its far-fetched for cousins to lead a team to the superbowl----when nick foles, trent dilfer and brad johnson lead teams to superbowl----and those guys were all average/decent QBs at best LOL

    lol.

We didn't need him to beat Tampa. We needed him to beat the Giants, Raiders, Falcons, Vikings, and Patriots, and guess what, he did.

What good is Cousins if he's a choke artist?

Anyway, I said Keenum would blow it all season last year, and you met me with the same debate. Look what happened

you did need him to beat tampa. he's out there to win games. you're just stuck in the past like the typical packer fan who says "the vikings have no superbowls OMGZ LOL"

even if cousins hasn't done good in big moments, he can overcome that. peyton manning lost over and over and over again in the playoffs, and eventually he got over the hump. i'm not saying kirk is as good as manning---i'm simply saying that QBs can overcome failures in big moments. this is why your argument that "cousins folds under pressure" doesn't hold much weight to me.

and the best part is you reacted as if cousins leading a team to the superbowl is far fetched---and your team won a superbowl with a guy who doesn't have a starting job LOL

i mean c'mon booos........how bias can you be?

Well for starters, I'm living in the present and we're defending champs. Two, do you have any idea who you're talking to? Eagles fans have been berated with the no super bowls argument for years, even more so than the Vikings. Of course I am going to bask in it since we won. Maybe one day you'll know how it feels, just not with Cousins at QB.

Would I be surprised if Cousins won with the Vikings? No. But until he does that is my view, and you can't compare him to Manning because we know how that turned out. Until Cousins proves he doesn't choke in big moments, then he'll be just that, a choker.

@Boos with the flawless victory, but Brady winning his 6th this year, sorry guys.

I think Eagles have a better team than Vikings, and I think Rams have a better team than both. However, if Eagles face either team, I'm picking Eagles.

What do you think about these new reports from that back. Apparently some coach said they could do what they do with Brady with any top 15 QB? Lmao no way

I certainly don't think the Eagles have a better team than the Vikings, Rams maybe. I would pick either of those 2 to beat the Eagles this year. Eagles pass defense is a huge liability, they're nowhere near as complete a team as the other two. Winning a Super Bowl doesn't mean you have the best team it just means you went on a run at the right time and if you did that with your backup QB who clearly isn't good that's a pretty good indication your run was flukey.
