Jan 12, 2015 I think it is pretty clear that it would be pretty surprising for Eminem to put out another great solo album, given how badly he has declined as an artist. He would have to vastly improve his flow, his beat selection, his writing and lyrical abilities, and his overall delivery. Right now, he's got very little going for him. He's inconsistent, he's boring, and he's not saying anything interesting or meaningful. At least on Relapse he had great production and excellent flow. At least on Recovery he had something to say (for some of the songs at least). There wasn't anything on MMLP2 or XV where he really solved any of his problems to the point where he was excelling again, he just made them less of an obvious issue. His work from Encore on (over a decade!) is the work of an average rapper with flashes of brilliance. It's incredibly unlikely that he could maintain a high level of ability over an entire album, but anything is possible.

Jan 12, 2015 Haven't read through the thread but for the most part Eminem's stuff on the compilation album was a pleasant surprise and if he can make an album full of songs that are even the caliber of Fine Line and GOF I'd be very eager to hear it.
