Mar 10, 2015 "You a fake Denzel like the Allstate n----- If you run into me, better have Allstate with yah" Those weak lyrics ruin the whole song. Let's not forget how many times he uses the n word in the song. That alone makes it a pro black song and me and a few friends just find the song uncomfortable to listen to. All day is only for a certain audience. Not just anyone can relate to it enough to enjoy the song.
Mar 10, 2015 Lol way to turn the whole subject around. The song is clearly made for a certain audience. I just found it funny @WPG trying to do a write up on a song he knows nothing about. Don't get me wrong, it was a good read with great grammar. I just had to lol at a white guy thinking he knows exactly what Kanye's intentions were for making the song. Let's not forget some of the lyrics I mentioned which clearly knocks the song down to maybe an average single. All my hype went down for this album, after the release of All Day.
Mar 10, 2015 Know nothing about what? What do you think this songs about? There are racial undertones for sure, but the song is literally just about celebrating your position in life in spite of all it took to get there. what lyrics did you even mention besides the all state s---? which is great by the way lol. "fake denzel" had me laughing, better have "all state withcha" makes sense since he's known to attack paparazzi and get lawsuits not rly seeing any problem here but white discomfort that could be misconstrued as closet racism tbh
Mar 10, 2015 How many threads have you made that went over 8 pages? Yeah and I'm the s--- poster lol. Leave beef out of this thread. I was just discussing music.
Mar 10, 2015 You where not "discussing music", you came in here made an irrelevant generic quote from drake, and bashed the artist the thread was about. Just because you have made big threads doesn't mean s---. You can make eight pages of s--- but its still s---. f--- off go hop on Drizzy's d-ck. mkay.
Mar 10, 2015 Ik this song is not about celebrating your position in life. What makes you even think that? Idk if you actually read or listen to the lyrics or just chant the terrible chorus. "Ball so hard, man, this s--- cray, n-----" That was relevant and cool like, YEARS ago. Also ripping off of Jay Z with that line. "For that Jesus piece, man, I've been saved, n-----" A very rude remark and a shot at religions who believe in the real Jesus. I believe in Jesus so that throws me off the song pretty quick as well as the Christian audience of Kanye. "They've been lookin' at the Gram, I've been lookin' at the Grammys" When was the last time he even won a grammy? Or made himself not look like a fool at the Grammys? Am I missing something with this clever line? Must I go on with more lyrics?
