    6'5/10 It felt a bit long, I need to watch it again. Margot killing it as always, and I like the new characters, specially Nanaue.

    I also liked the original for what it is, it's shorter and easier to watch imo

    I heard only good things. Is it really that bad?? Thought James Gunn should do the trick and make a solid flick. Well, I'm watching it today anyways

    It's definitely not great like reviews and people on Youtube are saying, it's not at all. But I don't think it's trash, it's just been so overhyped, when it isn't anything special.

    Watched The Suicide Squad. My only gripe with this film is that it felt a little long. I watched it pretty late (after the basketball gold medal game) so maybe that had something to do with it.

    James Gunn is great. The cinematography is beautiful. The title cards during the different acts is refreshing in this genre. Tarintino-esque. Every character in this cast gets a nuanced moment and none of it felt forced. The action is as good as anything. Chemistry between the team is A+. CGI is great. It’s violent, funny, and I think this is Margot Robbie’s best outing as Harley Quinn, (black and red >>>> blue and pink) even tho she’s probably the 3rd billed character here under Idris Elba and John Cena (both great).

    This exceeded my expectations by a lot. I don’t often desire to see movies again days after I just watched them, especially ones this long, but I will definitively watch this again soon.

    9.2/10. Probably the best DCEU film.

    Considering his critique is “it’s sucks even tho I haven’t finished it yet” I’d go out on a limb and say he’s in the minority lmao

    I feel like everytime they make things right people call it the best DCEU film, it happened with Wonder Woman, then Aquaman, then Shazam, then Snyder and now this lol. I liked it but it feels too long. Rats girl and Harley were my favorites, but all characters were cool and nicely done, at least the ones that survive.

    I gave it a 6'5 but I guess when I watch it again I will give it a bit more. Still prefer the Snyder Cut and Wonder Woman though.

    I liked blue and red Harley though, that old look was iconic too.

    I wouldn't give it anywhere near a 10 cause 2019 had better movies imo, but it was pretty good

    That's how I feel. 2019 was packed with great movies and I enjoy a couple more than this one

    It was just a crazy year, but it don't mean I don't like Uncut Gems, it was pretty good.

    I watched that new Suicide Squad. I look back on it now and like quite a few things about it. It was pretty good, but I don't think it was ever as funny as it thought it was. Pretty much my only gripe though. Much better than the last one, probably the best DC film in some time too. 7/10

    I'll plug something nerdy too if there are any Lord of the Rings fans here. I found what I think is the perfect cut of the Peter Jackson Hobbit films. It cuts the entire trilogy down to a single 4-hour film, formatted like the LOTR extended editions. If you like those you'll like this. It's seamlessly edited and largely based on the book.     i really enjoyed this. learned a lot about aretha franklin. apparently she hand-picked jennifer hudson for this role. it wasn't jennifer's greatest acting IMO but she wasn't bad either. i really enjoyed the music performances throughout the film--to me that was the best part.
