    Finally got around to watching Across The Spider-Verse after I saw the steel book at the store today and bought it. This s--- was amazing. I think this might be the best Spider-Man movie yet… until Beyond the Spider-Verse comes out. Can’t wait.

    My only issue were the new characters, didn’t really like them. Other than that it was pretty cool.

    Had a lot of funny bits and was very integral to the plot in ways that's only noticable on repeat watches, first time I watched it I couldn't hear a g.d. word he was saying between the accent and the movies volume being too low lmao

    I watched it at home and just didn't find them interesting, Just Miguel a bit. Still liked the movie and will buy it though.

    Guess the next one will come out in 2025 or even 2026 with the strike going on. Same thing with Scream VII.

    this movie is a lot to take in. some of the jokes went over my head. it's definitely one of those films I need to see for a second time. that said, i thought it was creative and the writing was very clever. they also did a good job of mixing in serious and humorous moments throughout the film. Margot was awesome as usual.

    It's a very specific brand of comedy so I can see it not being appealing, it was funny as s--- to me though lmao

    I don't really see how it could get terrible reviews tbh, nothing is all that offensive about it unless one of the anti woke people are reviewing it. Again unless some of the jokes or the aesthetic in general just doesn't hit which is suepr understandable, it feels like a movie that bombed but was a cult hit in the early 2000s lol

    I’m watching the movie a second time and wow
    Hobie is lowkey rooting for Miles the entire time. Then as soon as Miles decides to defy the spider society, Hobie quits.
