Two folks in a car followin someone who fills the description for a kidnapper on an amber alert warning. s----s tense asf, hella sp00ky & unsafe, i enjoyed it. Characters could've been written a lil better tho, they didn't have to be complete r-----s with questionable decisionmaking skills, but they were unfortunately. Still a good & enjoyable movie tho, nice plot, acting, & uneasy atmosphere.

    good. 6.5/10

Exceptionally well shot and edited by a contracted Eisenstein, but with content so dry and propagandist it's difficult to enjoy.

Classic 80s teen blockbuster with typical dumb adults, genius hero kid, and an unbelievable story. Boy is it fun though.

      Distant Voices, Still Lives 1988

Davies' masterpiece-- Like thumbing through a family album of moving portraits. Haunting, ethereal, transcendent.

      Sunset Song 2015
      ★★★★ Watched 31 May, 2016

Despite certain narrative issues, Sunset Song is yet another gorgeously realized Davies film boasting exceptional cinematography, a lyrical pace, and some of his best lighting to date. It has been underrated by critics choosing to compare it to Distant Voices, Still Lives, which is a fair perspective, but judged on its own merits, Sunset Song is a great film, even if, admittedly, lesser Davies.

      83/100 - Great.

      [REVIEW] 87/100 - JAWS (Spielberg, 1975)

With the aid of Panavision and Technicolor, Spielberg creates a monumental 70s film bringing together the epic scale of David Lean and the captivating action of Alfred Hitchcock. Jaws grabs you and sinks deep. Though psychological and violent, Jaws is somehow wholesome too, and today it is a household name.

    Slow West (2015)

Watched this yesterday. I have mixed feelings about it. I liked the chemistry between the 2 leads but overal I think the character development (esp the girl it was all about) could have been better. And the ending was rushed, and imo also kind of lame. My expectations for this were very high though. 7/10

    I watched three movies today:

This movie was pretty good overall.

This movie had it's moments, but overall, it's not worth watching.

Lost in Thailand is definitely one of my new favorite movies. This is a Chinese film, but the English subtitles provided are at a perfect pace and make the film completely watchable for English speaking audiences. The plot was interesting, the humor was great, and it has a healthy dose of life lessons.

Not to mention an appearance by the flawless Fan Bingbing.

The Rock was released 20 years ago today so im going to warch it before bed tonight. I vividly remember skipping thr last day of 5th grade to watch the first showing that day and it ended up being my favorite film for like a decade. Unreal how fast time flies.

I own the dvd, but I watched it on Turner Classic Movies the other morning..and even though I've seen it multiple times, I had to watch it again. It's a great film, and an essential Noir.. 8.8/10

An amazing film..very well acted; one of Hitchcock's masterpiece's and one of my favorite films of all time. Grace Kelly looks stunning as always, and she's perfect in her role.. 10/10

A Million Ways To Die In The West

I expected a movie with just terrible jokes and no story. I was surprised in a good way. Still it was not a great movie, but I liked the story and some parts I laughed out loud. Decent comedy and Seth was pretty good in it. It was also fun to see Barney from HIMYM and Charlize Theron was gorgeous.

    7.5/10
