Simmons is nice but I'm worried the hype train is getting a little too big since there's not really a lot of guys in contention for that #1 draft spot.

Fun Lakers/Sixers game so far although neither team is playing any D yet lol.

Kobe looks good too, vintage move here.

He looks energized. 3/3 from 3 and the 1st 11 points for the Lakers.

Lakers basically getting run out of the building by Philly right now lol, they're loving Sixers open for 3's on almost every possession. Unless Philly REALLY blows it (which is certainly possible) they should be able to get their 1st W tonight.

Might as well just hope for L's every game at this point, keep their pick next year and get another solid piece for the future. Russell, Randle, Clarkson + 1 other top young guy would be a h--- of a nucleus for the future, lots of cap room too with Kobe leaving.

Golden State can relax now. They've got the longest streak in the NBA currently.

its good to see the sixers finally get a W

losing that many games in a row has to really start to wear on those guys after a while

Do you think they need to get rid of Whitman? That team doesn't look right atm.

I think Wit is finally coming around a bit. He was so stubborn to always play big but now he's finally using smaller lineups. Even saw Dudley at the 5 last night, and it was working great. The Wiz are slowly figuring s--- out lol.

Yeah they were struggling early in the game and the season in general. They have the main components of a contender, just need to improve their bench & bigs.

Lol funny ur asking me this... i was the biggest advocate for getting rid of dude last season after they started off something like 20-8 then fell off a cliff
They struggled for a while eventually pulling themselves together nd pretty much a healthy wall away from having a shot at the Cavs (i know they were off last night nd w/o kyrie nd all that but they played them tough every game in the regualr season last year too)

Side note: Wizards r playing an entirely new offense while mixing in new players(not to mention injuries to beal nd nene)... they r supposed to be struggling right now. The biggest surprise has been their defense, its been pretty terrible. But even that can be related to the new fast paced offense (lead the league in pace i think, or close to it) these dudes r spending so much energy running up nd down they forgot how to play d. The thing is they pretty much have the same core players who led the top 5/10 unit for few years running, they'll figure it out on that end soon enough. When that happens you'll see the team everyone was expecting coming into the season.

So, no i dont think he should be fired just yet. Once people get healthy (neal, nene, also got alan anderson otw) nd acclimated this team shou;d hit its stride.
(held the cavs to 85 last night not bad. Also Wall is officially back)

People have been bagging on harden, but lowkey wall has been just as disappointing. Lost himself in this offense for a little bit..think hes slowly figuring s--- out also (35,10,4,5) :kyrie:

I mean I think they'll be top 4 in the east by the end of the season, I was just expecting them to improve a bit more since they've had a lot of continuity on the roster for the 1st time in a long time. The Bulls have had the same issues with their defense as they adjust to Hoiberg's new system. Their defensive stats look good and they've made some keys stops to win games (Cavs, Spurs), but overall they've been very inconsistent. I was never a fan of starting both Niko & Pau since they're probably the 2 worst defenders on the team.

Wizards would be better off with the pirate Donny Newman taking over.

Yea i agree but also gotta consider Kris f---ing humphres was starting games (dudley was still getting in game shape). Watching him try to drive off a closing defender from the 3 line was one of the most painful s--- to watch..
Nd same w/ ur bulls they'll be right there as long as yall backcourt stay healthy.Still missing some pieces nd playing well east looking pretty strong.
People were saying Portis>Oubre after the draft for the wiz. How bobby been looking ?

He really hasn't seen the court much. SVG mentioned he thought Portis could be in the running for ROY if he had the playing time. Hoiberg keeps saying he'll get his chance eventually. Personally I think he should be ahead of Taj for minutes. He's got a nice jumper, 3 point range, and he's got that don't back down to anyone attitude/tenacity that I love. It'd be great to see him get some minutes at the 5 spot to spread the floor more. What about Oubre??

hasn't seen that much playing time eithe but i can see why they r high on him. Dude can play some d, still too skinny atm tho, cant really dribble yet and not the best finisher at the rim but he doesn't force things nd got a smooth j that should develop nicely. I can see the upside for the future for him but wud be nice to see that boy portis in a wiz jersey right about now

Great seats at the Bulls game tonight. Nuggets on a 7 game losing streak but they're scrappy as h---.
