Don't look now but here comes D Rose. He's played good in December, and really well the last week or so. Since ditching the mask his FG% jumped up to 43%.


Also someone needs to let BS take a break from the trade machine for awhile.

Cleanthony Early was apparently robbed and shot in the leg late last night.... Loved watching him in college. This sucks man.

He won't get another contract after this. Shot in the same knee he had surgery on last year. That strip club he went to was in a s-----y area, got like a 1.5 star review on yelp. Feel bad for the guy but you're from the neighborhood, wtf are you doing in a grimy a--- strip club at 5am with no security?

i'm watching the lakers/celtics right now. julius randle is doing pretty good. he hit a 3 about 15 seconds before the half ended and he's had a good overall game thus far. although these teams aren't what they use to be, i always love watching lakers vs. celtics!

Ive never seen someone go balls to the wall quite like Marcis Smart, dude almost needs to tone it down a little he JUST got back from an injury that sidelined him for 20+ games.

Kobe had an awful 1st quarter, think he was like 0/8 with a few turnovers. I think he finished 5/18 so if you want to be positive you can say he was 5/10 the rest of the way and played pretty well, also hit a huge clutch shot (basically the dagger) and grabbed 10 boards I think it was.

Thought Russell looked great at times tonight, real excited to continue to see him develop. Randle has a ton of potential too but d--- he's too aggressive and hardly ever passes the ball when he has a chance to score. He plays with a lot of energy and is excited but makes 3-4 dumb plays cuz of that each game, but all 4 of the young guys (Nance, Russell, Clarkson, Randle) had stretches where they looked real good tonight. I really hope all 4 of these guys stay with the Lakers long term, Clarkson's gonna be the first one up this offseason when his contract expires.

Clarkson is the best as of right now IMO. I know everyone can kind of imagine Russel & Randle's projection, but how do you feel about Nance? Starter material? 6th man?

Well it's tough to say for Nance but I definitely think he can be a solid piece on a good team, whether that's starting or a key player off the bench, I'm not sure. But what I like about Nance is he always plays hard and almost always makes the smart play. He's been very efficient lately too, think he was 6/7 the game before the Celtics game.

I didn't even mention Anthony Brown yet either, he's another guy who could be a very good young piece. He was an early 2nd round pick this year and hasn't played much yet but is supposedly a good shooter and defender and is long and athletic too. Those 5 guys+hopefully 1 more next year if they keep their pick and hopefully a good free agent can make the Lakers a solid team again real fast.

I agree about Clarkson, he's probably the best right now and usually the most consistent. I'm not sure who will be the best long term, but I'm kinda thinking/hoping it's Russell.

Clarkson is restricted right? I wonder if another team will have the courage to give him a max offer sheet. I agree on Nance, I love guys who give a lot of effort and play the game the right way. Russell has been solid lately from what I've seen. Obv getting rid of Byron will be addition by subtraction for you guys as well.

Oops I messed up actually, looks like Clarkson has 1 more year still after this year so that's good, but yeah then he's a restricted free agent. I could see a team offering him like 12-15 mill a year (especially since the cap will be higher by then), so curious to see what happens and if they can hold onto him.

*edit* actually I really don't know if it's up after this year or next year, I see 2 sites saying 2 different things lol, thought I heard before it was after this year but not positive.

Celtics have now lost to the Lakers, Nets & had a late come back against the 76ers(to keep them winless at 0-16). Need to stop playing down to their competition.

This home & home vs Brooklyn is like a playoff series. Need to keep Brooklyn at the 3rd worst spot and keep Simmons in play.
