Lakers were actually right with them for about 3 quarters tonight, Warriors definitely didn't seem to be their usual self. Kobe's obviously in a lot of pain but trying to play all these road games when it's his final visit to a city, so I'm hoping he does the same for Portland in about a week when I go.

I absolutely love watching Russell play already, have a feeling he'll be my next favorite Laker when Kobe's done lol. I also think he'll do huge things and be a star player one day. Lakers really have a bright future, probably about 2-3 years away realistically from the playoffs. I just hope for next year they get a new coach (an absolute MUST!), hopefully keep their draft pick one more time(gotta be in top 3) and possibly add a solid free agent or 2. If they can hit on someone in free agency, they can make the playoffs next year but I'm already worried about not being able to re sign one of the young guys if they spend too much in free agency lol, I want this young core to stay and grow together under a great coach who can help them develop. So if they do spend a lot of $$ on a free agent, they better be positive it'll be a good long term investment.

Jimmy's full highlights from last night. Dropped a career high 53, tying Curry's high for the season.

He's at least 3rd in the MVP race behind Curry & Kawhi IMO. An argument could be made that he's 1st since the Bulls aren't as talented as the Warriors or Spurs. Either way I'm really happy to see Jimmy elevate his game once again, and really gives us a chance to contend if the rest of the team can stay healthy.

Wes deserves some credit too, played tough d the entire game.

Trying not to overreact because I know they can turn it on when it matters, but they gotta pick it up. They need to stay in the 2-3 range otherwise we could end up playing somebody like Washington or Boston in the 1st round and potentially Cleveland in the 2nd. Noah being out again completely destroys his trade value, so looks like he'll be with us the rest of the year.

Anyways C's looking decent again, Smart had a triple double tonight.

Yea Celtics are very good in the 2nd game of a back to back, specifically on the road. I'm still down on them for that 1-6 seven game stretch though, don't really care about the 2 game win "streak"(Pacers are good but the Suns are a tanking team).

Either way it's a DVR game, nothing trumps Divisional weekend.
